New reporting on an investigation by the Interior Department's inspector general shows that Washington’s Lafayette Square Park was not cleared in June 2020 so that former President Trump could hold a photo opportunity on site, but rather so a contractor could install fencing, NBC News’ Ken Dilanian reports.
