The
Normandie at 100 West 119th Street is offering luxury 4BRs
and penthouses with private terraces, ranging from $795,000

Paul Kim, the building’s former owner, who was killed

Lenox Grand, a new-construction development at 129th Street
and Lenox Avenue, will consist of 19 condo units on eight
stories, with two commercial floors below. Apartments feature

amenities include 24-hour concierge, elevator, separate storage
units and parking.
“This is condo living in truly grand style, at an excellent
value, in what has always been a beautiful neighborhood,”
says Corcoran Group vice-president Lawrence Comroe, who represents
the property. “You have mass transit right down the
street, great restaurants, supermarkets and other shopping.”
Most of the units will have outdoor space, and the two penthouses
will have roof terraces. 2BRs will range from 1,230 to 1,330
sf; 3BRs will be 1,600 sf. Pricing is likely to start at about
$800,000 (based on other developments). The building will
receive a ‘new construction’ tax abatement.

“There’s
a striking change in the nature of developments in Harlem,”

live there, and when I was looking, developers were just trying to
create as many rooms as they could. Now they’re doing luxury
