THE ZEN OF YOO

The glass towers with sweeping views up and down the Hudson would be enough to sell anyone on Aurora Over the Hudson in Cliffside Park, but Philippe Starck’s world-renown design makes it that much sweeter. “We’re seeing a tremendous amount of activity on the Jersey waterfront from young expanding families who can’t afford Manhattan,” says Neal Sroka, a senior vice president with Corcoran, noting that Jersey is selling in the low millions for 1,100 to 2,000 square feet, far below New York figures. “We’re also getting empty nesters from Short Hills and Summit and international buyers—not investors, but people who want to be on the water.”
