Colorado President Results: Harris Wins
Kamala Harris has won the Colorado contest, NBC News projects, and secured the state’s 10 Electoral College votes. In 2020, Biden won Colorado with 55% of the vote to Donald Trump’s 42%. In 2016, Hillary Clinton won Colorado with 47% of the vote to Trump’s 44%. Though Colorado is considered more purple than predictably blue — elections are typically close, often decided by unaffiliated voters — Democrats saw strong margins of victory in the 2018 midterm elections, and the party controls the governor’s office and both legislative chambers.
