2024 House Results: Republicans keep control

The race in Alabama's 2nd Congressional District is between Democrat Shomari Figures and Republican Caroleene Dobson. The race is for an open seat.

The House race in Alaska — which has only one representative in the chamber — is between Democratic incumbent Mary Peltola and three challengers: Democrat Eric Hafner, Republican Nicholas Begich and indepdent John Howe. Pelota won a special election, becoming the first Democrat to represent the state in the House since 1972. Begich is the newphew of former Democratic Sen. Mark Begich. The race will be decided by ranked-choice voting.

The race in Arizona’s 6th Congressional District between incumbent Juan Ciscomani, a Republican, and Democrat Kristen Engel is for a seat Democrats hope to flip in a bid to take control of the House. Ciscomani, a Mexican American, was first elected in 2022, winning a seat that had been held by a retiring Democrat.
