Kamala Harris has won the New York contest, NBC News projects, and secured the state’s 28 Electoral College votes. In 2020, Biden won New York with 61% of the vote to Trump’s 38%. In 2016, Hillary Clinton won New York with 59% to Trump’s 38%. New York is a reliably blue state, voting for Democrats in every presidential election since 1988.
