Donald Trump has won the North Dakota contest, NBC News projects, and secured the state’s three Electoral College votes. In 2020, Trump won North Dakota with 65% of the vote to Biden’s 32%. In 2016, Trump won North Dakota with 64% to Hillary Clinton’s 28%. The state is reliably red, having supported Republican candidates in every presidential election cycle since 1968.
