New York Magazine Sweeps Up 9 National Magazine Award Nominations

Today New York Magazine was nominated for nine National Magazine Awards, in categories including General Excellence, News, Sports, and Entertainment; Design; Feature Design; Website; Leisure Interests; Reporting; and Profile Writing. The nominations come at the end of a year in which David Haskell succeeded Adam Moss as editor-in-chief of New York. Haskell took the helm on April 1, 2019, after 12 years at the magazine in various roles, including deputy editor.

New York’s colleagues at Vox and The Verge were also nominated in multiple categories, including Feature Design, Website, and Reporting. New York Media merged with Vox Media last fall. The full slate of nominations for New York, Vox, and The Verge is listed below.
