Superheroes Honor 6-Year-Old Shooting Victim at Touching Funeral
Jacob Hall, who died after a teen gunman opened fire at a South Carolina elementary school is remembered as a superhero.

Dale Hall, dressed as Superman, stands before the casket of his brother, 6-year-old Jacob Hall, at Oakdale Baptist in Townville, South Carolina, on Oct. 5.
Jacob died after a teen gunman opened fire at a South Carolina elementary school. He was struck by a bullet in a main artery in his thigh as he left for recess. A fellow classmate and a teacher were also shot but were treated and released from the hospital.

Starr Henderson cries after seeing her nephew, Jacob, during the service. His funeral comes a week after authorities say a 14-year-old boy killed his own father before driving to Townville Elementary School and shooting Jacob, a classmate and a teacher.

John Buckman, dressed as Batman, hugs Jacob's aunt Rebecca Hunnicut, after speaking during the superhero-themed funeral service. A 14-year-old boy allegedly killed his own father, then drove to Townville Elementary and fired on two children and a teacher as recess began. Jacob died Saturday.
