Children play at a refugee camp on the northeastern Greek island of Chios. Over 60,000 migrants remain stranded on Greece's mainland and the islands since European border closures earlier this year. Under the EU-Turkey deal, migrants who arrived in Greece after March 20 can be deported back to Turkey.

Fernandez was killed in a weekend boat crash in Miami Beach along with two friends.
A funeral procession began at Marlins Park and traveled to Ermita de la Caridad in Miami for a blessing, before heading to Saint Brendan's Catholic Church for a public viewing. Marlins players surrounded the hearse, then walked it down the street as fans chanted "Jose, Jose!"

Confucius and his teachings were widely criticized by the founding father of Communist China, Mao Zedong, who railed against traditional culture and what he called "feudal thinking." However, the sage's image has been rehabilitated in recent years as the government pushes his message of harmonious social order and deference to authority.
