Los Angeles police detectives met Friday evening with Judy Huth, the woman who sued comedian Bill Cosby this week, alleging he plied her with alcohol and then sexually molested her at the Playboy Mansion in 1974 when she was 15 years old.
Huth, 56, met with detectives for 90 minutes Friday, accompanied by high-powered attorney Gloria Allred. Allred told reporters she was only representing Huth in the possible criminal investigation, not the civil suit. Huth did not answer any questions during a press conference Friday.
In the civil suit, Huth claims Cosby invited her and a friend to the Playboy Mansion after an afternoon of drinking beer. While at the Mansion Huth alleges Cosby attempted to put his hand down her pants, and of "taking her hand in his hand and performing a sex act on himself without her consent."
Allred said Huth went to the police after LADP Chief Charlie Back made public statements Thursday that his department was "willing and prepared" to investigate any and all accusations of sexual assault, no matter how long ago they occurred.
Cosby is under a cloud of suspicion after more than a dozen women have come forward in recent weeks claiming the comic drugged and raped them, or attempted to sexually assault them, years ago. He has not been charged with any crime. His attorney has called the claims "ridiculous," and in court papers accused Huth of trying to extort the star.
