Israel dropped leaflets over the Gaza Strip on Sunday warning that “the battle is ongoing” against leaders of Hamas, even as Israeli sources told NBC News that Israel’s mission to neutralize militant tunnels would soon be declared over.
The leaflet, addressed to “the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip,” warned that the violence was not finished. “We want you to pass the following message to your leadership that is hiding underground,” it said. “The battle is ongoing. All the leaders of Hamas and other terrorist groups are unsafe.”
Amid word that Israel's ground campaign against militant tunnels in the Gaza Strip may soon come to a close, the Israeli military Sunday dropped leaflets over the Gaza Strip warning residents that a "battle is ongoing" against leaders of Hamas. The leaflet reads: "To the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip - We want you to pass the following message to your leadership that is hiding underground: The battle is ongoing.
