New harrowing photos surfaced Wednesday from last week's siege of a Paris kosher grocery store that left four hostages and their killer dead.
The gunman, Ahmed Coulibaly, can be seen in one of the images caught by security cameras, wearing a backpack and camouflage, and facing an older man standing up against a door. Another shows a partial view of a person on the floor and goods strewn about. A third picture reveals abandoned strollers.
Authorities believe Coulibaly was linked to two brothers, Said and Cherif Kouachi, who killed 12 people at satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo, and a policeman on the street. Coulibaly was killed by police when they stormed the shop, but officials have said at least one of his accomplices may have escaped.
A Malian man working in the store hid 15 customers in a basement during the standoff, saving their lives.
