This week’s edition of “Don’t Dillydally” includes a real range of goodies (which we think you might want to act upon in a prompt manner), from some preppy pillows to cool kid cassettes.
Everlane’s Day Loafers
As our friends at the Cut have noted, there’s a new addition to Everlane’s Day shoe collection (which already includes a ballet-ish flat, a heel, and a boot): a very comfortable-seeming loafer, available in an array of colors. Sizes are already selling out.
Paula’s Choice Sunscreen Powder
Anthropologie’s New Plus-size Line
Last Friday, Anthropologie launched an inclusively sized line, and the stuff is classic Anthro: kicky and wearable. For those who are annoyed that they can’t buy Aidy Bryant’s Shrill outfits (the costume designer made most of her clothes for the show from scratch), these pieces are not unlike what her character Annie might wear.
Pottery Barn x Lilly Pulitzer
Lilly Pulitzer collaborations tend to sell out; you may recall the madness that ensued when Target’s Lilly Pulitzer line launched a few years ago. So this collaboration with Pottery Barn may not stay on the shelves too long. Some of the items are a bit much (a Lilly Pulitzer couch, for instance, is, well, wow), but the pillows and blankets and towels are really wonderful. We particularly like these blue floral shams.
Coach x Disney
Who isn’t Disney collaborating with these days? Their latest collaboration with Coach is actually quite nice — in particular, this little fold-over bag that, from afar, looks like its adorned with sweet, muted flowers, but up close it’s clear that, hey, that’s Bambi and Thumper!
Uniqlo’s Brands Masterpiece Collection
This is a particularly kooky Uniqlo collaboration — just a bunch of brand logos on T-shirts. However, the Pez T-shirt (with little Pez dispensers popping out of the pocket) and the Cup Noodles one (with noodles coming out of the pocket) are both brilliant.
Something Navy’s Spring Line for Nordstrom
To be quite honest, we don’t know much about Something Navy blogger Arielle Charnas other than the fact that she is an extremely popular influencer and that she had a role in popularizing the Amazon coat. She has collaborated with Nordstrom before (apparently, the collabs have been very successful), and the spring line, featuring reasonably priced clothes for women and little girls, just dropped. Some little girls slip-ons, above.
Björk Cassette Tapes
Here’s a fun one. Queen Bjork is releasing all nine of her studio albums in colorful cassette tape form on April 26, and you can buy them now on the One Little Indian Records website.
