In this week’s look at the “drops” worth “copping,” a new (relatively reasonably priced) capsule from Rodarte, Fenty’s two-years-in-the-making bronzer, Vans’ long-awaited David Bowie collection, and some Game of Thrones Oreos.
Rodarte x Universal Standard
Our colleagues at the Cut recently alerted us to the fact that Rodarte has teamed up with size-inclusive line Universal Standard for a very Rodarte-looking (dreamy, ethereal, a little directional) capsule collection available in sizes 00 to 40. The items are much cheaper than Rodarte’s usual fare, and this fairy-goth dress is particularly lovely.
Fenty’s New “Sun Stalk’r” Powder Bronzer
Rihanna and her Fenty team apparently spent two years developing this multi-hue range of powder bronzers that promises to give a “post-vacay bronze all year round.”
Carhartt WIP at Madewell
These Carhartt WIP pieces that are for sale at Madewell are going fast — particularly these stretchy (actually flattering-looking) work pants. These peach-colored overalls are wonderful as well. Update: It all sold out! These denim overalls are still available.
Baggu’s Spring 2019 Totes
Baggu’s new spring line includes, among other things, a tote inspired by these ubiquitous shopping bags. A colleague pointed out that the “baby Baggu” would make the most delightful lunch bag. It should be noted that for every reusable tote purchased from Baggu in April, ten cents will go to the Surfrider Foundation to help keep plastic out of the ocean.
Everlane’s Shrunken Hoodie
As we noticed last year, shrunken hoodie sweatshirts, tied in a little bow at the neck, are popular among the off-duty model set. Thank goodness, then, that Everlane released a cropped hoodie this week. You can’t quite see in the photo, but the shoulder seams are visible, giving it a vintage-y vibe.
Kith x Russell Athletic
Speaking of sweatshirts, Kith has teamed up with Russell Athletic on a 96-piece sweats line. A lot is already is sold out (there are only 100 items in each “SKU”), but as of press time, there are a bunch of sizes left in this “honey”-colored sweatshirt.
Vans x David Bowie
It would seem as if the sneakers from Vans’ much-anticipated David Bowie tribute collection are all gone, but there’s still some clothing — like this long-sleeved men’s tee — left.
We take it back: There are some sneakers still available … for babies, toddlers, and little walkers!
You can now recreate artist Judy Chicago’s famous boxing-ring photo shoot (that inspired T magazine’s February 2018 cover) thanks to the limited-edition Chicago collection over at Artware Editions.
Game of Thrones Oreos
So yesterday Oreo launched its limited-edition Game of Thrones–themed cookies (they feature the “sigils” of the “three great houses”) and they are completely sold out online. However, if you visit Target’s website, you can order them online and then pick them up in person at select stores (which offer such a service, and where said Oreos are still somehow on the shelves).
