This week’s edition of Don’t Dillydally (our weekly look at the new, often limited edition, releases worth buying) features a little something for everyone, including an unlikely collaboration courtesy of one Victoria Davey Spelling.
Birkenstock x Zappos
When last we checked in on these teal-green Birkenstocks, which were made exclusively for Zappos’s 20th anniversary, there were hardly any sizes left. Well, Zappos must have re-upped because now they’re lots of sizes available … but for how long, we do not know.
A “Seafoam” Thermapen
If you’ve been thinking of investing in a (Strategist-approved) Thermapen meat thermometer, now is a good time to pull the trigger because (a) there is still a lot of barbecuing to be done this summer, (b) Thermapen just released a limited-edition “seafoam”-colored thermometer, and (c) it’s currently on sale.
Nintendo Switch Lite
So this doesn’t actually launch till September 20, but as of yesterday the Nintendo Switch Lite (a cheaper and, yes, lighter, alternative to the regular Switch) became available for preorder on Amazon. This has Christmas-gift-that-is-bound-to-sell-out written all over it, so might as well grab it now.
Timex x Snoopy in Space
This collaboration is so … random and specific. Which is why we love it.
Floyd Shelving
Floyd, the Detroit-based minimalist furniture line responsible for one of our favorite bed frames and flat-pack sofas, just launched a very handsome modular shelving system that looks very easy to put together.
Pretty Little Thing’s Wine-Stain Jumpsuit
To be honest, we did not follow this viral moment, but apparently a woman named Eleanor Walton spilled red wine on her white Pretty Little Thing jumpsuit, and instead of freaking out and hiding under a rock, she alerted her co-workers of the mishap, and according to the Cut, “the group went to work, soaking Walton’s Pretty Little Thing jumpsuit in even more wine.” The result “was a burgundy-colored, tie-dye outfit that looked straight out of someone’s Coachella Instagram feed.” Now, Pretty Little Thing has released an intentionally “stained” jumpsuit that’s $45 on its website.
Tori Spelling x SodaStream
An unlikely but wonderful collaboration: Tori Spelling (yes, that Tori Spelling) has teamed up with SodaStream on a very Peach Pit–looking sparkling-water maker.
