Herschel Supply Co. for Nordstrom
Every now and then a collaboration is so good we feel compelled to devote some extra space to it — Drew Barrymore’s kids’ home-goods line for Walmart, for example. This Herschel Supply Co. “Pop In” at Nordstrom, designed by Olivia Kim, Nordstrom VP of creative projects, is the latest. We just couldn’t pick a favorite because the bags are just too delightful.
Hatch x J.Crew
Cool Pregnant Mom brand Hatch makes maternity clothes that one might actually get excited about wearing. The stuff is expensive, though, which is why it’s exciting that they’ve teamed up with J.Crew on a (slightly) cheaper line featuring dresses, pants, blazers, T-shirts, and their signature jumpsuits.
Buffy’s Natural Dyed Sheets
Buffy, the bedding startup responsible for one of our favorite comforters (made from recycled bottles), has created what it says are the first naturally dyed sheets (“free of chemical color and synthetic ingredients”) on a mass scale. Twin and twin XL are already sold out —perhaps thanks to ecominded back-to-school shoppers?
Uniqlo x Roger Federer
Uniqlo’s selling the getup Roger Federer will be wearing at the U.S. Open, including his shirt and shorts. Not sure he’ll be wearing this Roger hat, but you can!
Everlane’s Washable Silk
The main thing that is annoying about silk is that you can’t throw it in the washing machine. Everlane has somehow figured out a way around this and has released a trio of washable silk shirts, just in time for when you want to look presentable again at work.
Material Kitchen’s Cutting Boards
Apparently when Material Kitchen released its colorful cutting boards made from recycled plastic back in late July, they sold out in three days. Now, thankfully, they are back in stock. But for how long we do not know.
Lots of brands are getting in on SpongeBob SquarePants’s 20th anniversary; we wrote about this wonderful Igloo cooler a few weeks ago. Hot Topic has its own collection and we are really feeling this slow cooker. The little red knob as a mouth!? Too much!
