More home goods than usual in this week’s edition of Don’t Dillydally, including some surprisingly lovely Allswell blankets, Royal Tenenbaums wallpaper, and a stately British-seeming chair.
The Allbirds “Mizzle”
Goofy name; useful shoe! The Allbirds Mizzle is the start-up’s first weather-resistant wool sneaker. And the soles are grippy so you won’t slip and slide in the rain.
One King’s Lane Open House
Bed Bath & Beyond (which bought One Kings Lane in 2016) has launched its second private-label brand, One Kings Lane Open House. The stuff is very English country home, and the price points are relatively reasonable.
Christian Siriano for J. Jill
J. Jill (our mother’s favorite store) has a surprisingly young-feeling new line courtesy of Christian Siriano with lots of work-appropriate blouses, trousers, and this cool puffer-coat-slash-cardigan.
Allswell Bath and Bedding
Allswell, the Walmart-backed mattress-in-a-box line (we’re fans), just launched a bedding-and-bath range. The stuff is ostensibly high-quality and the price point seems a little cheaper than the Parachutes and Brooklinens of the world.
Everlane reCashmere
Everlane just launched a line of reCashmere (made from 60 percent recycled cashmere) in three somewhat retro styles. We love the slightly high neck here.
Rimowa’s “Pearl Rose” Line
A rose-gold take on the classic Rimowa Essential Lite suitcase.
Peel and Stick Scalamandré Wallpaper
Now your apartment can look like Margo Tenenbaum’s bathroom thanks to this peel-and-stick removable wallpaper — a limited-edition collaboration between the Inside and Scalamandré.
Uniqlo U’s Fall Collection
Tons of slightly directional basics abound.
