10 Things That Will Almost Definitely Sell Out: From Marimekko to Baby Yoda

This week’s edition of Don’t Dillydally, our roundup of new releases and collaborations that likely will not stay on shelves for too long, includes two summery collaborations from H&M, two pairs of sloungewear pants, and a much-memed Baby Yoda plush.

Marimekko x Uniqlo

This isn’t the first time Uniqlo has partnered with Marimekko, but this collaboration is particularly exciting because the Finnish design house’s bold, graphic patterns are appearing on some of Uniqlo’s most popular winter gear — like the ultralight down parka.

There’s this longer cocoon coat as well (that we named one of the best puffer jackets for women).

A slightly-more-subtle spotted print on a jumpsuit.

Or, if a jacket is too much, there’s this knitted cap, made with Uniqlo’s insulating and warming Heattech material.

A bit of an outlier of the collection, since there’s no graphic print, but these merino-blend pants looked so comfortable, we had to include here.

Everlane ReNew Fleece Sweatpants

Speaking of cozy pants, these new fleece sweatpants from Everlane are made with recycled polyester, derived from 52 single-use, plastic water bottles. There’s also a matching crewneck, to complete the look.

Baby Yoda Plush Doll

Even if you don’t know what a Mandalorian is or where it comes from, if you’ve spent any time on the internet the past couple of weeks, you’ve probably seen memes of Baby Yoda, a.k.a. the Child who is actually 50 years old, floating around. And now, you can preorder an undeniably adorable Baby Yoda plush for the Star Wars fan in your life (even if that’s you). But don’t bank on giving this toy as a Christmas gift this year: It isn’t expected to ship until April 2020.

Justine Skye x H&M

There’s a couple of fun collaborations coming out of H&M this week, starting with one Brooklyn-born singer and model Justine Skye (who has 2 million followers on Instagram). We like the delicate cloud motif on this scarf, even if we can’t name any of her songs.

Johanna Ortiz x H&M

The second H&M collaboration is with Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz, whose known for making ruffly, flowing dresses with bright, floral prints. There are four dresses available now, but they’re a teaser for a bigger collection coming in March.

Outdoor Voices for the ACLU

Outdoor Voices released this T-shirt yesterday, for Giving Tuesday. All of the sales for this shirt will be donated to the ACLU — and it’s been so popular that some sizes have already sold out.
