8 Things That’ll Almost Definitely Sell Out: From Birkenstock to Brooklinen

Beyond hand sanitizer, there’s a whole world of new launches and collaborations that are likely to sell out. Below, Dyson’s latest hair straightener, Birkenstock’s Proenza Schouler-designed sandals, and some questionable attire courtesy of one Scott Disick.

Dyson’s Hair Straightener

Apparently this, Dyson’s new hair straightener, was seven years and $43 million in the making, according to Fast Company. The biggest sell (other than being cordless) and its hardest-to-prove claim (at this point) is that it damages your hair 50 percent less than other hair straighteners.

Birkenstock x Proenza Schouler

These Fashion Birks have Velcro closures instead of straps, a black leather footbed as opposed to natural suede, and contrast stitching. (They’re also available in white, silver, and ochre.)

MAC x Barbie

A “cool toned” pink lipstick in honor of Barbie’s 61st birthday.

Magic Spoon Mini Boxes

Our favorite high-protein, low-carb cereal is now available in single-serve boxes (ideal for keeping at the office).

Brooklinen’s Weighted Blanket

A bunch of bedding startups have recently jumped on the weighted-blanket bandwagon (Casper, for instance), and Brooklinen’s the latest. Their weighted comforter, made from evenly distributed glass microbeads and plush filling, is ideal for these anxiety-inducing times.

Scott Disick’s Coronavirus Hoodie

We did wonder to ourselves, are Scott Disick’s now-viral sweatshirts too deeply stupid to include? And then we thought, well, it’s not doing active harm in the world.

Adidas Superstan

These came out in late February, but we missed them: these half-Superstars (the shell toe), half-Stan Smiths (the rest of the sneaker) are two great shoes that taste great together. They’re also available in red and navy.

Everlane Drape Trench

An oversize, slightly slouchy trench for the warmer weather that’s upon us. (It’s also available in a darker “clay.”)

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
