17 Things That’ll Almost Definitely Sell Out: From Jane Goodall to ‘The Mandalorian’

This week’s Don’t Dillydally includes some very giftable items — even if they’re just for you. You can treat yourself to a new set of loungewear from Everlane, or give the Star Wars lover on your list something from the not one but two The Mandalorian collaborations featured below.

Zara’s Lingerie Collection

Over the years, Zara has put out several lingerie-like things, but this is its first official lingerie collection — and from the jump, it has got everything covered, from pajamas, like this silk set, to shapewear, everyday underwear, and even some delicates for special occasions.

J. Hannah x The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Nontoxic-nail-polish company J. Hannah partnered with the Metropolitan Museum of Art to create this nail-polish collection inspired by the Costume Institute’s exhibit called “About Time: Fashion and Duration.” This set comes with five minis, including some neutrals and glitter polishes, and it’d make an excellent gift for the beauty-and-fashion-obsessed person on your list who was really looking forward to the Met Gala this year.

Ryan McGinley x Uniqlo

Uniqlo’s latest collaboration is with photographer Ryan McGinley — whom you know either for working with Harry Styles, Beyoncé, LaKeith Stanfield, and more or from being one of the youngest artists to get a solo show at the Whitney. The collection features graphic tees with McGinley’s work, often paired with somewhat inspirational phrases.

Jane Goodall x Crate & Kids

Crate & Barrel’s kids’ line Crate & Kids has partnered with the Jane Goodall Institute on a line of wildlife-inspired kids’ gear. That includes linens, furniture, and even toys that would make great gifts — like this “research tent” for kids.

There is also an adorable post-bath towel for your little giraffe.

Unfortunately, this kids’ chair doesn’t come in adult sizes.

The Mandalorian x Colour Pop

Mark your calendars for tomorrow — October 29 — and the launch of Colour Pop’s The Mandalorian–inspired eye shadow palette (the day before the launch of the second season of The Mandalorian). The nine colors in the palette appear to be appropriately green and neutral toned for Baby Yoda. The exact price isn’t available yet, but you can sign up here for updates and a chance to win one, too. You don’t want to miss this: Anything Baby Yoda is a certified good gift for the 2020 holiday season.

The Mandalorian x The Republic of Tea

If you’re less of a beauty blogger and more of a tea drinker, here’s a The Mandalorian–themed collaboration from the Republic of Tea. This three-piece set — the Child Green Tea, Mysterious Black Tea, and Warrior Herb Tea — features specialty tins with different characters that will make for nice décor long after the tea is gone.

Everlane’s French Terry

Earlier this year, Everlane launched activewear, and now, it’s debuting a full sweatsuit in its beloved French Terry fabric. There are two colors: black and a rust color the brand is calling cider. The fit on the hoodie is described as slightly oversize, and the pants are “roomy yet slightly tapered,” so feel free to add this to your WFH wardrobe.

Moog

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the theremin — an instrument played without actually touching it that sounds like it’s from outer space — Moog, a company known for its theremins and synthesizers, launched the Claravox Centennial, which it’s describing as an elite-performance theremin, with “the highest quality control and sound available in a theremin for deep artistic exploration.” If you’re buying it as a gift, make sure you get the correct version — either right- or left-handed.

TORRID x Betsey Johnson

This exclusive holiday collection at Torrid was inspired by Betsey Johnson’s exuberant 1988 and 1989 runway shows. The prints include leopard, plaid, and checker in materials like tulle and leather.

In addition to a range of jackets, dresses, shirts, and skirts, the collaboration features lingerie and accessories like these Doc Marten–esque combat boots with very Betsey touches like skulls, flowers, and ribbon laces.

Judy x Poo Pourri

We’d typically file this under things we don’t talk about, but we had to tell you: Judy, known for its emergency-preparedness kits, has partnered with Poo Pourri to create a kit specifically for unexpected trips to the bathroom. Ideal for campers, or a pandemic-related need to go to the bathroom outside, this kit has you covered with hand-sanitizer wipes to clean your hands, butt wipes to clean your butt, a glow stick if it’s dark, a whistle to call for help, a towel to keep your legs warm, and Poo Pourri to mask the smell.

(RED) x Theragun

Therabody, the maker of the Theragun, has partnered with (RED) for special-edition versions of its massage guns — now in red, rather than the regular black and blue. Two percent of the purchase of every (RED) Theragun is being donated to the Global Fund’s COVID-19 Response and (RED)’s ongoing fight to end the AIDS epidemic in sub-Saharan Africa.

Floyd Walnut Collection

From $725

When it launched its line of modular furniture back in 2017, Floyd only made birch furniture, but it launched a version of its platform bed in walnut earlier this year. And now, there’s a whole collection of walnut furniture at Floyd, including this console table for that new TV you bought on Prime Day.
