For this week’s Don’t DillyDally we’ve uncovered new launches from lots of Strategist favorites: Tatcha released a new, dewy-skin-inducing serum; Fenty is launching a new gloss shade (in an adorable mini size); and Our Place is releasing a new colorway of their cult-favorite pan.
The Container Store x KonMari
Does this bring you joy? Professional organizer and author Marie Kondo is teaming up with the Container Store on, well, containers. Ranging from storage boxes to canisters to hangers, the collection feels Muji-esque and is made from sustainable materials like bamboo and rattan. We’re particularly excited about these simple canisters — ideal for dry goods like rice, sugar, and flour — which will look good with virtually any décor style and last for a long time.
Dr. Barbara Sturm
Dr. Barbara Sturm is known for her pricey but ridiculously effective skin care, which has made fans of celebrities like Bella Hadid and Victoria Beckham. She doesn’t release new products all that often, so when she does, there’s reason to believe it’ll sell out. Her newest product, a potent vitamin C serum will likely meet the same fate, because it solves lots of common vitamin C serum issues (like shelf stability and skin irritation) without compromising effectiveness. The serum uses three kinds of vitamin C — oil-soluble vitamin C THD; stable, synthetic vitamin C; and kakadu plum extract, a known natural source of vitamin C. It also contains zinc, which helps the serum to better penetrate the skin, along with aloe vera and hyaluronic acid for an extra dose of hydration.
Tatcha
Tatcha, known for making very good serums (and for its celebrity fans), recently released this dewy-skin serum. Lactic acid derived from naturally occurring superfoods green tea, Akita rice, and Okinawa algae gently resurfaces skin while squalene locks in moisture.
Fenty Beauty
On the makeup front, Fenty released a limited-edition mini lip-gloss set that includes a brand-new shade called Pink Butterfly — a pink-coral hue with gold shimmer. The set includes a mini gloss-holder key chain, so you can touch up your gloss on the go.
Our Place
Our Place is bringing back its limited-edition (and wildly popular) red Always Pan to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The color is a slightly different red than the 10,000 Abilities Pan of years past, but it’s close enough. This year, the pan also comes with a bamboo steamer and cooking chopsticks (both of which are currently shipping separately in late February) which are ideal for everything from dumplings to sautéed vegetables. The set costs a mere $30 more than the pan would on its own. If you’re considering purchasing, don’t dillydally — once it sells out, it’s likely gone for good.
Loewe x Totoro
Luxury brand Loewe has released a collection dedicated to Hayao Miyazaki’s 1988 film My Neighbor Totoro, featuring the movie’s characters on T-shirts, hoodies, cardholders, and this incredible hammock bag. Let the sides of this tiny bag out, so it can be worn in a few different ways, like a cross-body or a tote.
Crosby Studios
For fans of Crosby Studios’ surrealist and aspirational work, you can now have a little piece of the brand in your home. The home-goods line ranges from quotidian (a simple pouf) to playful (an oversize slime-green body pillow) and is an encapsulation of the brand’s high-concept aesthetic.
Telfar
Telfar has been busy. In addition to restocks of their always-sold-out shopping bag, and two collabs, the brand has also been dropping new clothing like these cable-knit sweaters, which are available in two colorways (off-white and black) and two styles.
Target x Wild One
Wild One is now available at Target, meaning you can pick up beige-colored poop bags and aesthetically pleasing tug toys while shopping for all of your other needs. We’re particularly excited about the leashes, a Target exclusive, which are much more affordable than the ones you’ll find on their site and come in similarly go-with-everything shades.
Huckberry x Coors
Huckberry and Coors have teamed up for a three-part campaign that spotlights outdoorsy types like Gregg Boydston, a photographer, firefighter, and former wildfire hotshot, wearing limited-edition co-branded gear and sharing their stories. The first drop includes this trucker jacket, which has custom patches, a corduroy collar and is made from an ultradurable washed denim. Ten percent of the proceeds from the collaboration will go toward the Wildland Firefighter Foundation, a nonprofit that supports families of firefighters who have been injured or killed in the line of duty.
Zara x Everlast
Another (perhaps more surprising) collaboration: Zara and Everlast have teamed up on sporty cropped sweatshirts and pants, along with tailored-looking pieces like an Everlast-logoed trench coat. Our favorite piece is the striped button-down, which feels sort of vintage and compulsively wearable.
