6 Things That’ll Almost Definitely Sell Out: From Adidas to Away

For this week’s “Don’t Dillydally,” we’ve uncovered several items we’re sure will sell out, including a new body-care line from Jada Pinkett Smith, new colors of Away’s most popular suitcases, and limited-edition colors of Girlfriend Collective that are sure to go quickly.

Hey Humans

Jada Pinkett-Smith can now add brand founder to her résumé. The actress and Red Table Talk host launched the personal-care brand Hey Humans, an affordable and sustainability-minded line of body-care products available exclusively at Target. The line includes a body wash, body lotion, deodorant, and two types of toothpaste (fluoride and non-fluoride). Everything is bottled in shelfie-friendly aluminum packaging and priced under $6. We’re most excited about the body wash, which contains moisturizers like jojoba oil and glycerin and comes in lush scents like rosewater ginger and apple matcha.

Away

Just in time for socially distanced weekend trips, Away has launched some new limited-edition shades of its classic suitcases for spring. The carry-ons (a favorite of frequent travelers), medium suitcases, and Everywhere bags now come in three color-blocked hues, including this beige-olive combo we think will look nice stuffed into the back of a car.

Yeti

Also on the luggage front, Yeti (yes, that Yeti) now makes duffels and soft-sided suitcases. We’re particularly excited about the carry-on-size 40-liter duffels. The structured build and divider panels make the bag easy to pack and unpack, and the compression snaps flatten to secure clothes, a gift to overpackers everywhere.

Adidas x Zoe Saldana

Adidas and Zoe Saldana have expanded their collaboration for spring. This drop includes tops, leggings, pullovers, jackets, and sports bras in seasonal hues. We like this lightweight track jacket that comes in sage, teal, and black. The moisture-absorbing, Aeroready fabric has a subtle glossy sheen.

Girlfriend Collective

Another workout release: Girlfriend has dropped limited-edition spring colors of its classic silhouettes. The shades are punchy; pear (a muted chartreuse) and pond (a sort of seafoam blue) are standouts. Like all Girlfriend Collective drops before it, these shades will go quickly, we expect, so if you see something you like, don’t dillydally.

Coursera

Coursera — a company that makes college-level courses available to the masses — recently launched partnerships with Howard University and Morehouse College to develop new social-justice-focused classes on topics like activism in sports, police brutality, and workplace diversity. Auditing a class is free, but $49 gets you a more interactive experience (with peer-review sessions and graded assignments). The Morehouse offering, “Activism in Sports and Culture,” is taught by NBA All-Star, sports journalist, and commentator Chris Webber. Throughout the course, he interviews other sports activists, like Jemele Hill and John Carlos, who offer insight into historical and contemporary acts of protest.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
