For this week’s “Don’t Dillydally,” we’ve uncovered several items we’re sure will sell out, including Glossier’s first makeup bag, a Chipotle-themed collection from e.l.f., and a new collection of Uniqlo x Ines de la Fressange.
Everlane
Everlane has released the Easy Jean, a denim version of their popular Easy Pant — complete with elastic waistband and a straight-leg cut. The pants are also ultrasoft, thanks to their loosely woven knit, which gives them that broken-in feel from the moment they arrive at your door. The pants are made from organic cotton and available in three colors: bone, a medium wash, and washed black.
Uniqlo x Ines de la Fressange
For its latest collection with French model Ines de la Fressange, Uniqlo has released lots of spring-appropriate buys. That includes this relaxed, boxy-fitting blouse, which has subtle floral embroidery and will elevate both work Zooms and socially distanced hangs when the weather gets warm.
The Mandalorian
For anyone having Mandalorian withdrawal, Disney has released some plush toys — some of which come with a free Easter egg toy when you use the code EASTEREGG. Naturally, the plushies are incredibly cute. We like this one of The Child in zen pose, which would look charming on a desk and would serve as a helpful reminder to relax throughout the day.
Bread Beauty Supply
Bread’s newest beauty offering is this macadamia oil, which promises “hotel-pillow-soft” hair and can be used on both your hair and body. Macadamia contains squalane (an oil that occurs naturally in the skin) that’s high in fatty acids, which help maintain the skin’s natural moisture barrier and add shine to hair. Every order also ships with a new Bread scrunchie, which comes in a never-before-seen green.
Yrsa Daley-Ward x H&M
H&M has teamed up with author Yrsa Daley-Ward on a sustainably sourced loungewear collection that features her big words in a tiny, digestible font. We like this shirt from the collection, which reads “One day this will be history,” because, well, it’s true. The shirt is made from a soft organic cotton jersey and has dropped shoulders that give it a slouchy, oversize fit.
Le Creuset
It’s no secret that we love Le Creuset’s Dutch oven. We love it so much that we wrote an article that compared all other Dutch ovens’ worthiness using it as the gold standard. Which is to say that the release of a new color from the brand is a verifiable event. You can now own a marble version of the Dutch oven, which has all the functionality of the original but with a sleek white exterior.
Glossier
While many have used Glossier’s pink pouch packaging to store their makeup products over the years, the brand has finally come out with an official makeup bag that’s big enough to store just about everything in your routine. It’s seven-inches high — tall enough for foundations and lipsticks to sit inside standing up — and nine-and-a-half-inches wide, long enough for most brushes. It also comes with an interior organizing pouch that can be easily removed.
Chipotle x e.l.f.
In a perhaps unlikely collaboration, e.l.f. and Chipotle have teamed up on a limited-edition makeup collection that includes an eye shadow palette, a plumping lip gloss, and a beauty blender that’s shaped like an open avocado. As expected, the collection is going quickly, but the palette, which is inspired by Chipotle ingredients, is up for grabs. Every order also comes with a coupon for free chips and guac, which can be redeemed until April 15.
San Pellegrino x Tilit
Tilit, makers of workwear for the hospitality industry, designed a collection of bandanas in collaboration with San Pellegrino and three restaurants: Nom Wah Tea Parlor, Tartine, and Lilia. We like the bright colors of the Nom Wah bandana, which takes inspiration from their storefront on Doyers Street and features the restaurant’s iconic soup dumplings. All of the net proceeds from the bandanas will go toward ROAR NY, which benefits restaurants and restaurant workers in New York.
Gurls Talk x Papier
Model and activist Adwoa Aboah has partnered with Papier on a line of paper goods for her nonprofit organization Gurls Talk, which focuses on the mental-health needs of young women. The collaboration encourages us to use pretty paper — like this customizable stationery set — as a prompt to send love to yourself and others.
