For this week’s Don’t DillyDally, we’ve uncovered a mix of spring-appropriate finds: Otherland released a candle collection inspired by secret gardens, Hedley and Bennett have teamed up with Rifle Paper Co. on floral aprons, and Mansur Gavriel debuted oversize tie-dye totes.
Barbie x Zara
Zara and Barbie have joined forces on a collection, and as you’d expect, it’s very pink. The collection includes a sweatsuit, a long-sleeved logoed shirt, and this T-shirt, which comes in white and blue, each featuring a different Barbie and slogan. We think the blue one would look nice paired with jeans, serving as a reminder that Barbie is, in fact, a style icon.
Otherland
Statusy candle maker Otherland recently released their Garden Party collection. They’re calling the collection a take on the secret garden. Floral, springtime scents abound, with lily of the valley, orange blossom, and golden daffodils, and each candle design features a collage of the scent notes inside.
MLB x Le Creuset
Le Creuset has given the Strategist-favorite Dutch oven an MLB makeover. The limited-edition collection casts the classic 7.25-quart oven in official Yankee-blue colors with the team logo embossed onto the lid. The capsule collection includes three other of the league’s most iconic teams, the Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox, and L.A. Dodgers.
Glossier
For their first cleanser since Milky Jelly (a favorite of both teens and Alexa Chung), Glossier has released Cleanser Concentrate. While Milky Jelly is lauded for its gentleness, the Cleansing Concentrate is meant to deeply clean the skin by exfoliating and clarifying. It does this through plant-derived extracts like grape ferment and lactic acid (exfoliators) along with chamomile and calendula, which work to soothe and calm the skin.
Parade
After making lots and lots of bright-colored, meshy underwear, Parade has expanded into bralettes. The two available styles, scoop and triangle, are designed to offer comfy support. Similarly to the underwear, the bras go up to a size 3X (which corresponds to a 42F) and are available in a variety of eye-catching shades. Because the brand’s underwear are so popular, we expect these will go quickly, so if you see something you like, don’t dillydally.
Rifle Paper Co. x Hedley & Bennett
Hedley & Bennett have teamed up with stationery and printmaking company Rifle Paper Co. on a whimsical, floral apron collection that feels fitting for the time of year. The collection includes three of Rifle Paper’s most iconic designs and comes in both adult and kids sizes.
Meena Harris x Great Jones
For their second tea towel collaboration, Great Jones has teamed up with lawyer and author Meena Harris. The limited-edition, 100 percent cotton towel duo features a multi-colored graphic “I’m Cooking” print. We think they’re conversation-starting pieces of kitchen décor.
Grateful Dead x State Bicycle Co.
State Bicycle Co. and the Grateful Dead recently collaborated on a bike and bike accessories collection that includes patterned jerseys, tie-dyed saddles, foot straps, and these cycling caps, which come in a range of colors and are expected to start shipping mid-May.
Mansur Gavriel
If you’d like your tie-dye more muted, Mansur Gavriel recently released these hand-dyed, pastel totes, which are crafted from Italian lambskin and have a raw interior. Each tote comes with a removable pouch for holding your odds and ends, and since every tote is dyed by hand, no two are the same.
The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape.
