For this week’s Don’t DillyDally, we’ve uncovered a mix of things we’re sure will sell out: Herman Miller has re-released its chiclet couch, Fenty Beauty has a new glowy body lotion, and Teva and Polaroid have teamed up on a limited-edition collection.
Zara
Zara, which has recently expanded into pet and lingerie offerings, is launching a massive beauty collection. The collection includes everything from nail polish to lipstick to eyeshadow palettes and comes in sleek, minimally branded white packaging and a wide assortment of colors. It’s also affordable, with nail polish starting at $8 and eyeshadow going for $15. The collection will be available starting May 12, but you can peruse the entire collection now on its site.
Fenty Beauty
Also on the beauty front, Fenty Beauty has dropped a whipped body cream that’s meant to make skin glow just in time for summer. The dewiness is courtesy of a cocktail of nourishing ingredients like shea butter, mango butter, and glycerin along with oils like sorrel, baobab, coconut, and jojoba. It also contains antioxidants by way of the vitamin C–packed Barbados Cherry, a nod to bad gal RiRi’s heritage.
Herman Miller
The chiclet couch (also known as the Wilkes Modular Sofa Group) has returned. The reissue, which has evolved over the past few decades from office décor to a coveted piece of vintage design, looks almost identical to the original, save for some updates like additional upholstery colors and USB slots to charge your phone.
Hervé Leger x Julia Restoin Roitfield
Bandage-dress maker Hervé Léger has teamed up with model and entrepreneur Julia Restoin Roitfield for a collection made entirely of recycled materials. The brand’s signature meshy-stretchy look gets an update in this sturdy bustier bodysuit with long mesh sleeves.
Brooks Brothers x FILA
Brooks Brothers and Fila have teamed up on a sporty-looking collection that blends both brands’ aesthetics and color palettes. There are tailored, striped blazers, tennis sweaters, and tracksuits, all of which come in Fila’s signature red, white, and blue. We think this button-down from the collaboration, which riffs on Brooks Brothers’ signature Fun shirt is, well, fun. It’s made from a moisture-wicking cotton blend that’s tailored to fit close to the body with a little bit of stretch.
Aries x Lee
In other collaboration news: Streetwear brand Aries has joined forces with Lee on T-shirts and denim. We like this jacket’s neoclassical sculpture print on jacquard denim.
Polaroid x Teva
Inspired by classic Polaroid shades, Teva has released a limited-edition sandal collection and this co-branded retro-looking Polaroid 600 camera. The camera is professionally refurbished and tested, comes with a co-branded strap, and can be used with Polaroid 600 film.
Le Creuset
Le Creuset’s newest limited-edition dutch oven redesigns the brand’s signature four-and-a-half-quart-size pan. Inspired by and celebrating love, it features a cascade of rainbow hearts along the pot and lid and maintains all of the classic features that make it the gold standard in cast-iron pots.
Universal Standard
For Mother’s Day, Universal Standard has released Ever Mothers, a T-shirt capsule collection that celebrates all forms of motherhood. Three artists — Amber Vittoria, Marylou Faure, and Melissa Koby — each designed prints that appear on the brand’s popular (Peruvian cotton) Tee Rex shirt. Buying one also does good: 100 percent of the profits ($10 from each T-shirt) will be donated to Planned Parenthood.
