10 Things That’ll Almost Definitely Sell Out: From Boy Smells to Sweaty Betty

For this week’s “Don’t Dillydally,” we’ve surfaced a range of things we’re sure will sell out, including two buzzy Target collaborations, a Boy Smells x Sky Ting candle that apparently smells like calm and wellness, and a waterproof nylon tote inspired by L.L. Bean’s archive.

Soko Glam AAPI Founders Collective

K-Beauty e-tailer Soko Glam has launched the AAPI Founders Collective, a capsule collection of products by AAPI–identifying founders with sustainably focused and inclusive brands. The 27-product lineup includes Strat-favorite Cocokind, which makes an organic chlorophyll mask that Rio says gave her clean, bright skin. While this collection doesn’t include the popular chlorophyll mask, you can get your hands on the brand’s Resurfacing Sleep Mask, which offers similar results thanks to ingredients like bakuchiol (often referred to as nature’s retinol).

Sky Ting x Boy Smells

Boy Smells and yoga brand Sky Ting have teamed up on a limited edition candle, cheekily called Smell Ting. The candle, which smells like jasmine, galbanum, angelica seed, Sichuan peppercorn and amber, is meant to evoke a sense of calm. Every purchase comes with a complimentary month of Sky Ting TV, where you can stream an unlimited number of yoga classes and burn the candle while you flow. Important caveat: The free classes are only redeemable for new Sky Ting TV subscribers.

Hilton Carter x Target

Author and interior stylist Hilton Carter recently released his third book Wild Creations (his previous book Wild Interiors made our list of the best Black coffee-table books), which teaches you how to style plants in your home. The launch also coincides with a Target collection including faux plants gardening accessories, planters and plant stands and brass terrariums. We think this coiled planter would look nice with just about any décor style and is an affordable alternative to the stackable Areaware.

Christopher John Rogers x Target

In other Target collaboration news: Last Sunday, Target debuted its latest designer dress collection. This year they partnered with three cult-favorite designers — CFDA award winner Christopher John Rogers, Rixo, and Alexis. Dresses from the collab have sold quickly but there’s still a few pieces left, like this floral puff sleeve number from CJR, which features a high-low hem and a waist-cinching tie.

Marimekko x Nordstrom

For its latest Pop-in, Nordstrom has collaborated with Marimekko, known for its bold, graphic florals that look good on everything from homewares to tote bags. If you’re looking to liven up a tablescape, we recommend this floral serving tray, which is made from laminated birch and features a print the brand debuted in the ’70s.

Polonsky & Friends x The Sette

If you’d like a more traditional looking platter, Sette has teamed up with Polonsky & Friends on this 16-inch, bone china platter that riffs on traditional French spring motifs. The platter was designed by Paris-based artist Mary Clerté and made in partnership with Halcyon Days, a royal warranted supplier of objets d’art. All of the profits from the plate go to World Central Kitchen, an NGO that provides meals for communities affected by natural disasters.

Yara Shahidi x Adidas

Celebrities like Tracee Ellis Ross and Gabrielle Union have been teasing Yara Shahidi’s collaboration with Adidas over the past week, and as of yesterday, you can now own a piece of it. The collaboration is inspired by Yara’s Black and Iranian roots, which can be seen through the colorways and Iranian-inspired print. The star of the collaboration are the Superstar, but there’s also these fun track pants, which come in a punchy yellow, and are a revamped version of the iconic Beckenbauer tracksuit.

Halle Berry x Sweaty Betty

You can now wear the same workout clothes as Halle Berry thanks to a new collaboration with Sweaty Betty. The capsule collection is made up of athletic basics like sports bras and leggings alongside other items that are best described as elevated athleisure. For example, this dress, which is made from a ribbed nylon fabric that’s both slinky and stretchy could theoretically be worn to a yoga studio but would look just as good on the street.

Roy Lichtenstein x Uniqlo

Uniqlo has released a new collection with pop art icon Roy Lichtenstein, applying his signature style to T-shirts and totes. We think this cheery cotton tote from the collaboration is particularly fun, and is big enough to hold all your odds and ends.

L.L. Bean launches the Archive Reissue Collection

In case you’d like your tote weather-resistant, L.L. Bean has released its tote as part of their Archive Reissue Collection — where it releases limited-edition styles inspired by its archive and made from surplus outerwear fabric. This roomy tote is made from nylon and polyester and comes in a ’90s-inspired color scheme. Because everything is made from leftover fabric everything is incredibly limited (they only made 750 of these totes), so if you see something you like, don’t dillydally.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
