For this week’s ”Don’t Dillydally,” we’ve surfaced an assortment of things we’re sure will sell out, including a climbing-ropes-inspired chair, a Keith Haring–inspired Polaroid camera, and the first piece from the long-awaited YZY x Gap collaboration.
REI x West Elm
Last Thursday, adventure-gear retailer REI and West Elm released an outdoor-furniture collection designed to withstand the elements. Offerings include an outdoor stool, a dining table, a ground cloth, a shelter, and this foldable, climbing-ropes-inspired chair. It’s light and easy to tote around, making it an ideal accessory for park hangs and beach days alike.
Thomas Rhett x Chaco
Chaco, which makes our favorite hiking sandal — the chunky, classic Chaco Z/1 — has a new collection made in partnership with country-music star Thomas Rhett. The two-piece drop includes the classic sandal (now sold out) and this similar strappy slide. Its contoured arch support creates proper foot alignment, and the custom-designed webbing was inspired by Rhett’s love of fly-fishing on the Boulder River.
Keith Haring x Polaroid
For its latest collaboration, Polaroid has teamed with Keith Haring’s estate on a limited-edition Polaroid Now camera and Haring-inspired photo frames. Everything in the collection features Haring’s signature style. The camera has a graphic black-and-white pattern and comes in an eye-catching red, and the frames feature a range of the artist’s famous figures. We recommend this starter set, which includes both camera and film.
Disney x Chewy
Chewy has expanded its Disney offerings so your cat or pup can play or accessorize with the franchise’s biggest characters (and, we hope, leave your beloved stuffed Disney merch alone). We like this Donald Duck plushie, which comes in an ultrasoft fabric and can be used for playing or cuddling. If that doesn’t appeal, lots of other characters — like Daisy Duck, Pluto, and Minnie Mouse — are also available.
Chiara Ferragni x Nespresso
Chiara Ferragni can now add coffee influencer to her running list of accomplishments. The entrepreneur and blogger has teamed with Nespresso on a limited-edition Vertuo Next, adding a pink accent and a single illustrated blue eye to its design. The collaboration includes a guide to Ferragni’s signature recipe (iced espresso and coconut), a mug, and a tumbler.
Karlie Kloss x Adidas
Karlie Kloss and Adidas are back with their second collaboration, this time inspired by nature. Earth tones abound, with everything from the sports bras to the shorts available in a leafy green. We like this bikini top from the collection, which is made from recycled materials and comes in a stretchy fabric that hugs the body so you can do water sports without worrying about spillage.
YZY x Gap
After long anticipation, Yeezy x Gap is finally happening. The collection kicks off with this bright-blue puffer jacket, which our friends at the Cut have called an “aperitif” of what’s to come from the ten-year collaboration between the rapper and the clothing brand. To purchase it, however, you have to enter your personal information, like your name, email, and hat, shoe, and clothing sizes (which we suspect has something to do with future releases), before you’re taken to a virtual waiting room of sorts, where you can preorder the jacket, which is expected to ship in the fall.
