For this week’s “Don’t DillyDally,” we’ve surfaced a range of items we’re sure will sell out, including a Hinoki Fantôme–inspired line of candles from Boy Smells, monochrome eyeshadows from Glossier, and a hike-friendly clothing set from Outdoor Voices.
Cristina Martinez x Nordstrom
Artist Cristina Martinez has teamed up with Nordstrom for a collection that applies her signature hand-drawn style to home goods, clothing, and accessories. The items include floral onesies; shaggy, dotted throw pillows oversize denim jackets; and this colorful quilted blanket, which features an image of her work No Rain No Flowers on one side and polka dots on the other.
Ada Twist, Scientist x West Elm Kids
West Elm is launching a collection of gender-neutral home goods to celebrate Netflix’s adaptation of the popular children’s book Ada Twist, Scientist. It includes graph-paper-inspired sheets, an Ada Twist pillow, a doodle-covered lap desk, and a lamp with a molecular structure for a base. Everything is available for preorder and will arrive between January 5 and 7.
Glossier Monochromes
Glossier has expanded its eyeshadow portfolio with Monochromes, single-color eyeshadow trios in three finishes: matte, satin, and metallic. Currently, there are ten sets to choose from, all inspired by colors in nature. Each tin is also refillable and recyclable, so once you own the compact, you can swap in any new pans you like.
Crayola x Shinola
Shinola and Crayola have teamed up again on a commemorative watch. This time, they’ve crafted a color-blocked timepiece in Crayola’s signature colors, green and yellow. The watch has a yellow dial and face, a green strap, and some subtle red details that add dimension. It comes in a limited-edition box designed by Detroit-based artist Tony Whlgn, who is best known for his murals around the city.
KylieBaby
With KylieBaby, which launches today, Kylie Jenner joins the cohort of celebrity moms who have baby brands. The first drop has everything a baby might need for bathtime, including shampoo and conditioner, bubble bath, lotion, and towels that come in both pink and blue. According to the brand, everything is pediatrician tested, hypoallergenic, and sulfate, silicone, and fragrance free. Lots of products have already begun selling out, but a few things, like this bubble bath, are still in stock.
Yeezy x Gap
In another launch from the KarJenner universe, Yeezy x Gap has revealed the second product in the decade-long collaboration: basic hoodies in kids’ and adult sizes. Unlike the bright-blue puffer that came in just one striking shade, the hoodie is available in six hues, ranging from muted earth-tone neutrals to primary colors to a jewel-tone purple. And this time around, the wait is much shorter. Now, every color except black is shipping in two to three weeks, which means you can expect the hoodies in six-to-eight weeks. Unsurprisingly, the collection is selling fast, so if you see something you like, act quickly.
Parachute x Coterie
Also on the baby front, Coterie, which makes Strategist writer Lauren Ro’s favorite diapers, and Parachute, a Strat favorite, have collaborated on the Gift of Sleep Bundle, which includes two packs of diapers, a Parachute eye mask, a muslin blanket, a gift card for a 30-minute session with a sleep coach, and a plushie named Charlie the Bunny. The diaper sizes are customizable and range from newborn to size 02 (up to 16 pounds).
Ghia Ginger
Ghia has added ginger to its petite-can apéritif lineup. You can purchase it by the pack (starting with a minimum of four) or buy the combo, which includes the Ginger flavor and the original Le Spritz.
Boy Smells Fantôme Collection
Boy Smells has released a limited-edition run of Hinoki Fantôme–inspired candles that expand on the original scent (a blend of Japanese cypress, jasmine, hinoki, fir, and smoked amber). Thé Fantôme has notes of black tea, eucalyptus, and palo santo; Iris Fantôme smells of frankincense and sandalwood; and Copal Fantôme uses Mexican copal with cedar and patchouli. The candles come in earth-tone, matte-glass packaging and, like other Boy Smells candles, will run you $39 each. They start shipping on October 1. We anticipate they’ll go quickly, so if you see something you like, don’t dillydally.
Outdoor Voices Snacks Collection
Outdoor Voices has released a line of sports bras and leggings designed with long, hands-free outdoor treks in mind. Cheekily named Snacks, the collection features impressive amounts of storage space. The leggings have a removable mini-backpack, big enough for lip balm or doggie bags; a shirt loop; and a pocket to hold your water bottle. The bra has a pocket big enough to hold your phone. The pieces currently come in three colorways: olive, a rosy taupe, and the eye-catching yellow pictured here.
