For this week’s “Don’t DillyDally,” we’ve surfaced a range of items we’re sure will sell out, including a monochrome Stagg kettle created in partnership with Great Jones, a Grateful Dead apron from Hedley & Bennett, and a new puzzle from Strategist favorite Piecework.
Yellowpop x Keith Haring
For its latest collaboration, neon sign–maker Yellowpop is teaming up with Keith Haring’s estate on a collection of signs inspired by some of his most playful and recognizable pieces. There are eight signs to choose from, including iconic figures like Dancing Man, Barking Dog, and Radiant Heart — all of which would make a good gift for the Haring enthusiast in your life.
Studio Museum Archive Sale
The Studio Museum in Harlem has opened up its archives for a first-of-its-kind sale. The museum is selling catalogues from shows it has organized and exhibited over the years, spanning 1969 to 2019. Many of the pieces available — like a now-sold-out set of Chris Ofili posters — are one of one, so if you see something you like, we recommend purchasing it immediately. Lots of pieces have already begun selling out, but there’s still plenty to choose from, like this Faith Ringgold exhibition poster from a 1984 show that celebrated 20 years of her work.
Stagg x Great Jones
This week, there’s not one but two collaborations from the cookware brand. The first: a limited-edition green kettle created with Strategist favorite Stagg. The long-loved electric Fellow kettle gets a broccoli-colored makeover, pushing the already nice-looking kettle into the realm of an objet d’art. The brand has started advertising that quantities are limited, so we expect that this will go quickly. In other words, don’t dillydally.
Great Jones x Piecework
The second collaboration is a thousand-piece puzzle with Piecework, whose puzzles we’ve said are among the coolest out right now. The puzzle, named Piece of Cake, depicts an array of sweet treats on Great Jones cookware and promises hours of screenless fun.
Grateful Dead x Hedley & Bennett
Hedley & Bennett has collaborated with Grateful Dead on a set of two aprons. The design riffs on the chef-favorite Essential apron, which we’ve written about before. The first design features an array of colorful knife-wielding bears against a tie-dyed background. That one is already sold out, but the second is still in stock. This apron, made from a denim canvas, is more subtle in its design. For starters, the bears are knifeless. It also features tie-dyed pockets and a limited-edition Dedley & Bennett patch that makes it feel like a verifiable collectible.
Golde x Olive & June
Golde, maker of some of our favorite matcha, is teaming up with long-wearing seven-free nail-polish brand Olive & June on a shade expansion inspired by Golde’s products. There are three colors: “Energize,” a creamy matcha green; “Boost,” a sky blue; and “Glow,” a coral-orange. You can purchase each shade separately or buy the set, which also comes with Olive & June’s clear top coat.
Snow Days Sausage
Snow Days, which makes vegetable-packed, grain-free pizza bites that Strategist writer Tembe Denton-Hurst eats by the bag, is launching a new flavor: sausage. Like other Snow Days products before it, all the ingredients are organic and thoughtfully sourced. The sausage, for example, is made from pasture-raised pork, and the milk used for the mozzarella cheese is from grass- fed cows.
Otherland Gilded Collection
In preparation for the holidays, Otherland has rereleased its popular Gilded collection, which sells out year after year. Inspired by “late-night gala vibes,” the scents range from a ginger, bergamot, and yuzu candle called “Silk Pajamas” to “Fallen Fir,” which pretty much smells like Christmas. You can purchase them individually or snag the set, which would make an excellent gift.
The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
