9 Things That’ll Almost Definitely Sell Out: From Deadstock Baggu to Dusen Dusen

For this week’s installment of Don’t DillyDally, we’ve surfaced a range of Earth Day–appropriate eco-conscious collections and Strat-favorite releases that are sure to sell out, including a kindercore collaboration restock, napkins for an Instagrammable tablescape, and avocado oils that would make an excellent Mother’s Day gift.

Year & Day x Atelier Saucier

In kitchenware news, Year & Day, which makes some of our favorite Instagrammable plates, collaborated with Atelier Saucier, an L.A.-based modern tablescape design house. This collection of table napkins comes in either a set of blush-pink napkins with white contrast stitching or white napkins with contrast stitching in Year & Day’s signature palette (soft pink, gray, off white, and deep navy). Each set comes with four napkins, which are handmade in L.A. out of backstock materials.

Yesterday, Westbourne added avocado oils to its pantry staples (like one of our go-to Chex Mix–alternatives). There’s an extra-virgin organic version, meant for drizzling and finishing dishes, and a refined oil with a higher smoke point for charring, sautéing, roasting, and baking. Both come in recyclable glass bottles made with compostable labels and seals. You can buy the oils separately, but we think this set would make a nice Mother’s Day gift for the foodie mom.

Just in time for spring, Universal Standard restocked its line of stretch linen that sold out last year with updated styles and colors. Available in sizes 00 to 40, the collection includes eight silhouettes in newly added jewel tones and favorite colorways from last year. Strategist writer Arielle Avila owns the Float On dress pictured and says it’s soft and breathable right out of the box.

Snif x The Goodtime Hotel

Another restock on our radar comes from the genderless DTC fragrance brand Snif, which makes a woody scent Strategist writer Dominique Pariso calls “subtle” but also “fragrant enough that people can smell it up close.” This limited-edition fragrance is made in collaboration with Miami’s the Goodtime Hotel and named after their pool and lounge area. It’s formulated with notes of jasmine, citrus, bergamot, pink pepper, iris, amber woods, and sun-tanned leather, which the brand says is inspired by the “high-energy social scene of Miami.” When it was first released, the scent sold out in 48 hours, so if you want to try it out for yourself, don’t dillydally.

Herschel Supply and Bergdorf Goodman have teamed up on a limited-edition capsule of travel bags and accessories. Six of Herschel’s classic silhouettes get a revamp in all-black premium pebbled leather and organic canvas. This duffle tote is made with cotton canvas and a leather base and features a removable shoulder strap, a luggage trolley sleeve, and a separate compartment for storing shoes.

Strat favorite Warby Parker released a new line of frames made out of partially recycled materials this week. The glasses are made in Italy out of 50 percent nylon and 50 percent recycled TR90, a thermoplastic created from old frames that are reground and mixed in with nonrecycled material. The line includes nine new matte hues of four eyeglass and sunglass silhouettes, including this aviator style.

Another Strat favorite, Baggu, launched a deadstock collection of items made from fabric leftover from previous seasons. Some products, like their throw quilt and giant reusable cloth, have already sold out, but you can still get your hands on their pillowcases, pouches, canvas bags, and totes in these fun mismatched patterns.

Last year, Dusen Dusen and Dims. released a very kindercore collaboration that sold out within a day. They’ve brought the highly popular chair back, this time in a new palette that’s as delightful and modern as its predecessor. Most of the limited-edition release has already sold, so be sure to add it to your cart while you still can.

Yesterday, Athleta debuted Simone Biles’s first signature line of girls’ activewear. Made for ages 6 to 12, the limited-edition collection includes bike shorts, skorts, tops, hoodies, accessories, and more. Each piece features inspirational quotes picked by Biles, like this tank that reads, “The floor is yours.”

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
