10 Things That’ll Almost Definitely Sell Out: From Girlfriend Collective to Great Jones

For this week’s installment of Don’t DillyDally, we’ve surfaced a range of Strat-favorite releases and summer-appropriate launches that are sure to sell out, including swimwear from a tried and tested lingerie brand, Reese Witherspoon–approved reading nook essentials, and tulip-adorned clothing from Lisa Says Gah.

Brightland Paragon Collection

Yesterday, Brightland, which makes very good olive oil and fancy vinegar, launched its Paragon Collection — a series of limited-edition drops made in partnership with small producers around the world. Its inaugural olive oil in the collection is the Castelvetrano, named after the buttery, ubiquitous snacking olive that the oil is made of. The olives are grown, harvested, and milled from a single estate in Paso Robles, California. Less than 1,200 bottles were made, and each is numbered for an extra special touch.

Great Jones x Deep Black

Today, Great Jones has released the second edition of its spoon rests, which we wrote about last year before they sold out. In this installment, the brand collaborated with Sherród Faulks, the artist behind the Black-owned Virginia-based ceramics studio Deep Black. While you can purchase the wooden utensils on their own, this set comes with handmade spoon rests that are available in limited quantities. Like last year, the spoon rest isn’t sold separately, so if you like it, don’t dillydally.

Also on the cookware front, Caraway recently released its best-selling cookware set — beloved by Taraji P. Henson for actually being nonstick and easy to clean — in two new colors. This is part of its collaboration with the New York–based artist and poet Amber Vittoria. Along with a 10.5-inch frying pan, a three-quart lidded saucepan, a 4.5-quart sauté pan, a 6.5-quart Dutch oven, and organizational units, the limited-edition set comes with three custom prints from Vittoria.

We also found plenty of summer-friendly launches this week, starting with Girlfriend Collective, the makers of some of our favorite athleisure sets and leggings. The brand released an update to its swimwear collection yesterday, which initially came out last year. Like its first swim line, the items are made out of recycled fishing nets in a size-inclusive range of mix-and-match styles. But this year’s line is made with a thicker fabric and has built-in bras and removable cups, an elastic finish, and a traditional swimsuit liner.

Negative Underwear, our tried-and-tested brand for comfortable wireless bras and understated lingerie, has made its foray into swimwear. In line with its clean, minimalist style, the brand’s collection features five items in what it calls “streamlined swim.” The one-piece and bikini are made with a supportive, double-layered material in three colors. And included in the collection is a menswear-inspired button-down shirt and boxer-style shorts made out of a semi-sheer material.

Janessa Leoné, which makes sun hats stylish enough for celebs like Hailey Beiber and Molly Sims, launched a line of hats with more sun protection. All 14 of the hats in the collection have a UPF rating of 45+ or higher and are made with renewable materials like pure cotton twill and Ecuadorian straw. Some styles have sold out, but this modern take on the bucket hat (similar to one we’ve written about before by the brand) is still available.

Reese’s Book Club and the online interior-design service Havenly teamed up for their first collection. The lineup of reading-room essentials includes bookshelves, chairs, pillows, throws, rugs, and lamps for cozying up with a book. One of the more exciting pieces in the collection is this metal floor lamp, which looks like a slightly pared-down version of our favorite mid-century modern floor lamp but at less than half the price.

This week, the Instagramable indie label Lisa Says Gah released its collaboration with Birthday Girl Shop, a Los Angeles–based textile brand founded by artist and designer Keely Murphy. The capsule collection includes eight tulip-patterned pieces, some of which have already sold out and are on preorder. But these white denim high-waisted shorts with cheeky flowers on the back pockets are still in stock (for now).

In a very New York partnership, Catbird and Vito Giallo (artist, antique dealer, Andy Warhol’s former apprentice) came out with a limited-edition line of jewels and pieces made in Catbird’s Brooklyn studio. Each piece is inspired by the 91-year-old artist’s personal gem collection. On the more affordable side of the release is this “humble” pigeon charm made of recycled 14-karat gold, which can be slipped on a necklace, bracelet, or hoop.

Off-White, led by Virgil Abloh until his passing last November, has its sights set on beauty. The label released four genderless fragrances that it says evoke Abloh’s “vision of a blank canvas to inspire endless creativity.” Solution No. 3, the floral scent of the bunch, has notes of rose and is balanced with a musk base. The fragrances are the first launch from Off-White’s beauty collection, with face and body pigments and nail polishes to come.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
