For this week’s installment of Don’t DillyDally, we’ve surfaced a range of Strat-favorite releases that are sure to sell out, including a stylish dog puzzle toy, a beauty box celebrating AAPI Heritage Month, and picnic-ready Baggu.
Material Kitchen
We’ve written about Material’s kitchenware that’s as handsome as it is functional, so we weren’t surprised by the brand’s latest offering. The Forever peeler is a minimalist take on a standard kitchen tool. Made of stainless steel, it’s designed in a U-shape for better grip and has a replaceable blade. It’s available in three metallic finishes: golden, bronzed, and meteorite.
Yesterday, Gotham Greens announced a limited-edition collaboration with the Grateful Dead. Gotham Greens’ best-selling lettuce comes in custom packaging as “Grateful Greens,” featuring a cutout of the band’s iconic dancing bear. A QR code leads to curated content, like a Grateful Dead playlist. For every package sold, Gotham Greens and the Grateful Dead are planting trees in partnership with Forest Nation. Locate stores near you that carry the special-edition greens here or purchase online. The collab is already sold out on Amazon and other retailers though, so don’t dillydally.
Ruggable, makers of our favorite washable rugs for families and pets, has expanded its plush-rug collection with three new colorways and three new sizes and shapes. You can now purchase the high-pile rugs in azure blue, sage green, and ink black. In line with the rest of the collection, the rugs are stain-resistant, shed-resistant, and (of course) machine washable
Wild One
Stylish pet gear company the Wild One makes statusy dog carriers, harnesses, and toys cute enough to leave scattered on your living-room floor. The Tennis Tumble is the brand’s first puzzle toy. BPA-free rubber casing surrounds a tennis ball that’ll keep your furry friend busy chewing, pawing, and retrieving.
Milk Makeup
Milk Makeup, a beauty brand beloved by our beauty columnist Rio Viera-Newton, launched its first cleansing balm yesterday. The Hydro Ungrip (as opposed to its best-selling Hydro Grip primer) is made with hydrating ingredients that melt away makeup, like blue-agave extract, sunflower oil, hyaluronic acid, and aloe. As with the rest of Milk’s products, the cleanser is vegan, cruelty-free, and paraben-free.
Tower 28
In more beauty news, Tower 28 came out with a limited-edition box of skin-care, hair-care, and makeup goodies to celebrate AAPI Heritage Month, with $10 from every box sold going to AAPI nonprofits. Inside, you’ll find items from Tower 28 and seven other Asian-founded beauty brands, like Glow Recipe’s drag-queen-approved dew drops, Hero Cosmetics’ body wash, Tower 28’s nonsticky lip gloss, and more.
Ahead of Pride Month, Adidas collaborated with queer Australian artist Kris Andrew Small, adding design elements to seven of the brand’s most popular items. Andrew said he wanted the art to veer away from the traditional rainbow and pride iconography and instead celebrate movement and joy, as seen in the pictured Stan Smiths.
Jumping in on the mesh-bra trend, Pepper introduced semi-sheer offerings on Monday. The brand caters to small chests and is one of our favorites for AAA and AA cups. Its underwire plunge option from the collection is made with a single layer micro-fabric and convertible straps. If you’re looking for a bit more comfort, the brand has a wireless bralette, too.
Baggu
Yesterday, Baggu released a picnic-ready summer collection that includes this puffy cooler bag and a slightly smaller lunch bag. Both are insulated, have handles (the cooler has an additional shoulder strap), are made with recycled materials, and come in an assortment of mood-boosting patterns and colors.
Cuyana
Yesterday, Cuyana, makers of our favorite work bags, diaper bags, and wallets, released a smaller version of one of its best-selling designs. The Mini System Tote features pebbled leather, which Strategist writer Lauren Ro has said looks “fancier” than Comme des Garçons, and is just big enough to hold your essentials. It comes in two core colorways, black and cappuccino, and two seasonal ones, ecru and dark coral.
The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
