14 Things on Sale You’ll Want to Buy: From Everlane to Brooklinen

The dust has settled post–Amazon Prime Early Access Sale, but there are still plenty of great sales to be had if you didn’t get in on the action (or just love to save a few bucks). Several Strategist-favorite brands are having sales through the weekend, including Everlane and Brooklinen, and we found some highly giftable goodies at Target and Hanna Andersson.

At Everlane, all full-priced items are 20 percent off through October 16. (You’ll see the discount after you add to cart.) That includes lots of staff favorites, like these stretch-denim jeans that associate editor Louis Cheslaw says “just may be the most comfortable I’ve ever owned,” with much more give in the hip and thigh than classics like Levi’s 501s.

You can never go wrong with a classic cashmere sweater, especially when it’s only $116.

If you want an under-$100 sweater, several Strategist staffers own this cozy crewneck, including senior audience-development manager Mia Leimkuhler. “It’s lightweight but still really warm, and the slightly fluffy texture reminds me of the angora sweaters my mom used to wear,” she says.

And finally, some Chelsea boots that feel very autumnal. They’re available in three colors and every size from 5 to 11.

If you prefer loafers, these are 25 percent off at Madewell with code GOSPREE.

For when winter weather really rolls in, we like this nonbasic corduroy puffer, which is 30 percent off.

Just about everything at Brooklinen is 15 percent off through October 17. I highly recommend this silk pillowcase, which converted me to the movement. My hair is definitely less staticky when I use it, and I never wake up with weird sleep lines on my face.

If you didn’t get a chance to snag this Strategist-approved hair pigment powder during Amazon’s Prime Early Access sale, don’t stress: It’s half off today at Ulta. Our beauty writer Rio Viera-Newton says her mom loves the stuff: “Within seconds, her bright-gray roots were completely and totally concealed, with no evidence that they ever existed. And, even better, she said it didn’t feel like there was anything in her hair, the way pigmented sprays can get dry and crusty.”

Over at Target, a lot of very giftable items are on sale, including this instant camera from Fujifilm that makes an excellent gift for the TikTok-obsessed teen in your life.

Another good gift for teens is these Bluetooth-enabled earbuds from Skullcandy, which have a 40-hour battery life and are fairly resistant to water. (Rainy days should be fine, just don’t go dunking them.)

Keurig’s single-serving coffee maker is perfectly sized for dorm rooms and teeny kitchens.

Everything at Hanna Andersson is 40 percent off, including its Halloween designs. These would be good for a little one who’s not ready for costumes yet but still wants to get into the spirit.

Or you can skip Halloween altogether and go right to Christmas with this Snoopy-themed pajama top.

If you’re trying to transition summer dresses to fall, Sheertex is having a sale today on its “unbreakable” tights.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
