23 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy: From Everlane to The North Face

As we head into the weekend, lots of brands are offering sitewide discounts, including J.Crew, the Company Store, and Credo. We spotted Halloween costumes at a deep discount at Target, and Anthropologie is having a sale on dinnerware in case Thanksgiving is already on your mind.

Everlane’s felted half-zip sweater is just $100 today. Made from ultrasoft merino wool, it’s an excellent layering piece that doesn’t feel frumpy.

Strategist favorite jewelry brand Catbird is having an extremely rare sale on a few of their archival pieces before retiring them. Teeny pearl earrings never go out of style — and these are 25 percent off.

One of our favorite pairs of black flats is just $99 when you use the code 50FORYOU. I own a pair of Rothy’s rounded-toe shoes and love that they’re both machine washable and take no time at all to break in.

Don’t dillydally any longer on your Halloween costume: There are lots of options that are 30 percent off at Target. We can’t promise this costume won’t get “Baby Shark” stuck in your head, but it’s incredibly cute.

It’s corn! I can’t imagine a more beautiful thing!

Over at Nordstrom, another half-zip — this time from the North Face in an unexpected teal.

Designed by artist Anna Perugini, this vase would make a very nice gift for your in-laws.

Here’s a solid home-organization hack from an unlikely source. Podcaster Steven Phillips-Horst of Celebrity Book Club loves these Open Spaces baskets for decluttering: “It’s hard to find something to just toss books or the clicker or blankets or a sweatshirt into that feels chic and elevated, but I think Open Spaces really hit the nail on the head.”

Diksha Basu’s shawl of choice is on sale at J.Crew over the weekend. It’s the “rare cashmere piece that I don’t have to be precious about” since the fabric is both sturdy and doesn’t pill easier.

For a closet staple, former Strategist writer Chloe Anello and fashion blogger Titilola Sogunro recommend this crewneck. It’s available in 16 colors and goes up to size 3X. And you can add a monogram for an extra $10 to make it a personalized gift.

A lot of things are on sale at Le Creuset, including this soup pot that’s sure to become a family heirloom. Unfortunately, most of its signature Dutch ovens aren’t part of the sale, but …

… Target has this dupe for 30 percent off, which Strategist audience-development manager Mia Leimkuhler actually prefers. The dimpled underside of the lid locks in and redistributes moisture, and a dark finish is better for hiding stains. Not that she minds, but “it’s nice knowing that I can brown the bejesus out of something and not have any permanent marks.”

Everything at the Company Store is 20 percent off with the code FRIENDS22. This cozy-looking robe is $79 in most colors, but two hues — marsh green and mustard yellow — are just $49 since they were already on sale.

A down-alternative throw in some very sweet patterns, including pumpkins and dogs in sweaters.

Shopbop just added a lot of stuff to its sale section. Most of it is swimwear, but we did sniff out some cold-weather accessories, including this 30 percent off scarf from Acne. (If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can also score free two-day shipping on your order.)

While a lot of the on-sale Girlfriend Collective items are available only in one or two sizes, this cute pair of ribbed leggings is in stock in extra small through large.

Credo’s only sale of the year ends Sunday, so it’s your last chance to get 20 percent off a huge selection of clean beauty products. As a lover of cream blushes and highlighters, I will definitely be adding Jones Road’s Miracle Balm to my cart.

Makeup artist Daniel Martin turns to this blending brush because the synthetic bristles work well with both cream formulas and powder eye shadows. It’s also gentle enough to buff out concealer under the eyes.

Remember that army-green liner jacket everyone was wearing last winter? This is her older sister.

Anthropologie’s sale section is an extra 40 percent off through the weekend. There are a lot of discounted hair accessories, including these retro claw clips.

Here’s a thoughtful gift for your favorite pet parent for just $5.

Full-price beauty and wellness items — like my “can’t live without” diffuser from Vitruvi — are 20 percent off this weekend …

… as are select home and dinnerware items from Anthropologie’s so-called Thanksgiving table edit, including these delicate, colorful wine glasses.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
