10 Things That’ll Almost Definitely Sell Out: From Dr. Martens to Vitamix

For this week’s “Don’t DillyDally,” we’ve surfaced a range of new things we’re sure will sell out, including the iconic Ikea shopping bag in an exclusive Marimekko print, a new under-$500 Vitamix blender, and a chocolate-bar collaboration from two of our favorite dessert-makers.

When it comes to blenders, experts most often recommend Vitamix. The only bummer is that they’re not cheap — which is why we’re excited to see this new, under-$500 Propel model (you can also buy the more advanced Propel 750 for $630). It has variable speed control along with presets for smoothies, hot soups, and frozen desserts.

If you’re in the market for a smaller blender, Smeg — known for its retro toasters, refrigerators, and coffee grinders — has come out with its first-ever personal-size machine. Available in several colors, including dusty pink, pastel green, and bright red, it comes with a 20-ounce cup perfect for small-batch sauces and dressings. Plus, if you make a smoothie, that cup can be sealed with a lid and taken on the go.

Morrow makes some of our favorite sateen and linen sheets — and today, it launched its new spring collection featuring kitchen towels (each with a different geometric pattern) and some particularly intriguing wide-wale corduroy duvet sets and throw pillows.

Two New York City–based companies have come together for an unlikely collaboration. Men’s grooming company Harry’s and Krink, the artist materials brand and creative studio, teamed up on a limited-edition gift set with a custom chrome razor handle, razor stand, two German-engineered blade cartridges, and a silver paint marker meant to be used on wood, glass, and coated paper. It’s all packaged together in a slim removable tray you can use to store your goods.

In today’s shoe news, Dr. Martens has come out with a slew of new styles for spring. The drop is made up of updated classics, such as the Jadon shoe with added hardware, the Adrian loafer with a platform sole, and decorative takes on the 1460 (see: the floral motif here and this sparkly pair).

For the first time, Marimekko has created four new prints exclusively for a 25-piece collaboration with Ikea. Snag the retailer’s ubiquitous shopping bag covered in colorful rhubarb leaves or a towel lined with water ripples.

Lego has released a set modeled after K-pop band BTS’s “Dynamite” music video. It includes figurines of all seven members and 749 pieces to create a street lined with a donut shop, ice cream truck, record store, disco, and basketball court. While it has (already) temporarily sold out, you can sign up to be notified when it comes back in stock.

Jiggy commissioned artist and former Girl Scout Alicia Bruce to create a one-of-a-kind, 500-piece puzzle from which 25 percent of the revenue goes directly to the nonprofit. It depicts a map of various Girl Scout–esque activities (camping, learning, gardening) and will certainly last longer than a box of cookies.

Strategist-favorite chocolate-maker Tony Chocolonely has introduced new bars inspired by staple Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavors. In the four-pack, you’ll find two bars made from white chocolate with sticky strawberries and crumbly cookies (like Strawberry Cheesecake) and two made from dark milk chocolate with crunchy brownie pieces (like Chocolate Fudge Brownie). It’s especially sweet news given that the collaboration is a celebration of Ben & Jerry joining Tony Chocolonely in its mission to end modern slavery and child labor in the cocoa industry.

Korean beauty brand Glow Recipe is popular among influencers — and approved by our own beauty and skin-care columnist Rio Viera-Newton, too. Available at Sephora, its latest product drop is a primer that balances facial oil and reduces pore size without clogging, allowing for smooth makeup application.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
