For this week’s “Don’t DillyDally,” we’ve surfaced a range of new things we’re sure will sell out, including Sheertex’s foray into swim, a candle that’s designed to ignite neural pathways, and a fragrance inspired by the soap at the Carlyle.

Watertex

Our favorite hosiery brand, Sheertex, has expanded into swim. Sheertex is known for its incredibly durable tights, so it’s no surprise that its swimwear is crafted from a unique material. The suit is made from a water-repellent knit that’s apparently so effective, you can wring it dry. It’s available in seven sizes, ranging from XS–3XL (up to a size 24). Currently, you can grab the suit via Kickstarter, and depending on when you purchase, it will ship throughout the summer.

Mansur Gavriel Sustainable Capsule

Also on the new-materials front, Mansur Gavriel is making some of its signature bags using apple leather. The vegan material is made from recycled apple waste and is both waterproof and durable. This bright-green bucket bag from the collection feels perfect for spring.

Boy Smells x Kin Euphorics

Boy Smells, which makes our favorite candles, and Kin Euphorics, our favorite nootropics-infused nonalcoholic spirit, have come together for a trippy, ombré-colored collab. There are three candles to choose from, all of which have been made with scents that are said to illuminate certain pathways and illicit emotions like happiness, calm, or excitement. Whether they do any of that remains to be seen, but the pillar candles are eye-catching and have compelling scent profiles. Turn On, for example, has notes of bergamot, cardamom, carrot, ginger, and cedarwood.

Susan Alexandra Passover Collection

Kitschy accessories-maker Susan Alexandra has delighted us over the years with her beaded designs — from Hello Kitty bags to an ice bucket. Now she’s brought her design sensibility to Passover fare. Items from the collection include botanical-inspired Seder plates, frog candlesticks, lily-pad place mats, and glass-fruit coupes.

Brooklinen Beach Towel

Although summer still feels a ways off, it’s not too early to refresh your beach-towel collection. Brooklinen, which makes affordable art towels, is back with a fresh set of designs for 2023. This one features some classic New York motifs like a dollar slice, an ice cream cone, and a pigeon. Altogether, it’s a bit cheesy, but endearing still.

Vacation Super Spritz

Vacation makes nice-smelling sunscreen in aesthetically pleasing, nostalgic packaging à la ’80s-era Delial and Ambre Solaire. The brand recently expanded its offerings with a face mist that has an SPF of 50 and is designed to work well over makeup. This makes it ideal for reapplication on the go. And better yet, it’s reef-safe, paraben-safe, vegan, and cruelty-free.

DS & Durga x The Carlyle

The founders of fragrance brand D.S. & Durga (which makes an excellent, non-cheesy rose perfume) have an affinity for storied New York hotel the Carlyle. This perfume is inspired by the hotel’s original soap, and has notes of lime, neroli, bergamot, Balkan rose, honeysuckle, sandalwood, and moss.

Sixpenny Camino Collection

If you stared longingly at Solange’s Apartamento feature and promptly began dreaming of circular couches, then Sixpenny’s newest offering is for you. The couch-maker, which is known for its luxurious, slip-covered sofas, has released the Camino, a modular sectional that’s all curves and soft lines. There’s lots of colors to choose from, including a Solange-esque linen pink, and endless curvy configurations.
