12 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy: From Spanx to Vichy

This week, several retailers are hosting blink-and-you’ll-miss-them sales: Ulta’s 72 Hour Sale ends tomorrow night (and Amazon is price-matching some products), and Lisa Says Gah just added dozens of goodies from its sample sale to its site, but prices go back up on Friday morning. Scroll on to find my picks, as well as some stand-outs from Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale, college-ruled notebooks for back-to-school, and a sitewide sale at HUM Nutrition.

It’s back-to-school season already, so here’s a nice set of single-subject, color-coded notebooks for less than $10.

These “life-changing” aqua socks that “make your feet invincible” are a must-have for Bianca Buchanan, a dental hygienist who’s been frequenting New York beaches weekly every summer for over 16 years. Most pairs are $12, but the smallest size (a women’s 5) is just $6.

Shark makes some of our favorite affordable vacuums, and this app-enabled robot model is the cheapest we’ve ever seen it.

Coola’s SPF-infused setting spray keeps makeup in place while providing an extra layer of sun protection. (And it has a refreshing “cooling effect,” according to dermatologist Dr. Orit Markowitz.)

If you’re looking for a thick night cream for dry skin, the Vichy Aqualia Thermal moisturizer is full of hyaluronic acid to help hydrate and plump.

Ulta’s 72 Hour Sale ends at tomorrow at midnight, and the deals are excellent. This sulfate-free hair mask is formulated with shea butter and essence of fig, which restore moisture to hair without weighing it down.

Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale ends this weekend, and, surprisingly, these sleek, sweat-wicking leggings from Spanx are still in stock in all sizes.

Cloudlike socks from Barefoot Dreams, because cozy feet are never out of season.

Little Giraffe’s faux-fur baby blankets are some of our favorite baby shower gifts, but I think the brand’s hooded bath towel would make an adorable addition to any registry.

And here’s a bath-towel set fit for grown-ups. It comes in gray, white, black, beige, and blue.

If you weren’t in L.A. to shop Lisa Says Gah’s sample sale over the weekend, the remaining inventory is now online until Thursday night. Most of the products — which are discounted by 50 to 70 percent — are from the brand’s in-house line, like this chunky necklace.

HUM Nutrition is offering 30 percent off everything. Its probiotic supplement contains billions of shelf-stable bacteria that, according to the brand, nurture your gut health — which can help treat acne and even skin tone.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
