26 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy: From Brooklinen to Staub

The only thing better than a sale is a sale-on-sale, and I found a couple for today’s end-of-week roundup at Hay and Outdoor Voices. Sephora’s semi-annual sitewide sale started this morning for Rouge members — VIB members and Beauty Insiders will have to wait until Tuesday to shop — but if you’d like to map out your plan of attack, I’ve rounded up my favorite Strategist-vetted products here. For a sitewide sale that doesn’t require an account, head on over to Brooklinen, where everything is 20 percent off. Happy shopping, and as always, make sure to sign up for our email newsletter for even more sales coverage — including five extra deals each Friday hand-selected by yours truly.

This foldable cat bed features a fuzzy interior and a scratching board on the side. (It also comes as a double-height version if you’ve got several kitties.)

Lego Ideas Tree House

Here’s a really good deal on a massive Lego kit you can build with your kids. The color of the tree leaves can be changed with each season, says senior editor Jen Trolio, who just changed hers to autumn.

Everything at Brooklinen is 20 percent off for their Friends and Family Sale, which runs through October 30. I recommend nabbing our overall best bath towels, which are a favorite with our readers.

Another one of our best overall picks: This percale duvet cover, which can be found in the Strategist Sleep 100. Senior editor Winnie Yang’s daughter has been using it for years: “The percale is smooth and soft,” she says, and “feels cool and never clammy.”

Another Strategist staffer favorite is this incredibly fluffy bathrobe that writer Ambar Pardilla loves so much that she convinced at least two people to buy it. It’s made of the same material as our favorite towels, so it’s truly “bathrobe — I go straight from wearing it to lotioning up without needing a towel to wipe away leftover water,” says Pardilla.

Everlane is offering 25 percent off a wide selection of autumnal apparel. We’ve heard good things about this slim-fit denim for him, which comes in six washes and four lengths.

Here’s a snap-up fleece you’ll live in until April.

And this felted merino wool half-zip is a lovely layering piece that won’t feel feel frumpy.

This huge Hot Wheels racecourse is massively on-sale at Saks, of all places.

You’ve seen the pumpkin- and tomato-shaped cocottes, but I’d like to present this adorable artichoke Dutch oven for your consideration.

A handsome set of red wine glasses that’ll serve you well as we enter the holiday entertaining season.

Sephora’s Savings Event began this morning for Rouge members, but anyone can shop take 30 percent off the Sephora Collection with the code TIMETOSAVE, no account or status required. That includes one of our staple beauty advent calendars, standard-size calendar, which is a great way to test out a selection of products from the line.

The sale applies to already-discounted products too, making this trusty eyelash curler just $5.

All clearance items at Outdoor Voices are an extra 40 percent off. (The discount will show up in your cart automatically.) Temperatures are really going to start dipping next week, so here’s a colorful unisex fleece zip-up to prepare.

Keep it extremely cozy with this merino wool turtleneck (that’s still sweat-wicking, so you won’t overheat on the ski slopes or at the subway station) …

A few pairs of women’s sneakers are on sale in select colors. I’m eyeing this $60 cushy-soled lilac pair, which is about as cheap as I’ve ever seen Salomons.

These gray-and-pink Asics are cute enough to wear as a fashion statement — but if you don’t mind spending a few more dollars, they’re on sale in a few more colorways on the brand’s website, too.

Finally, these odor- and sweat-wicking socks, which shake out to just $4 apiece.

A polished (but not fusty) cashmere crewneck that comes in 17 colors and is available in sizes extra-extra small through extra-extra large.

A not-too-kitschy holiday sweater set for a sibling who’s having a baby next month.

And a nice under-$10 gift for a tween.

A charming cutlery-and-plates set that may just get them to finish their veggies.

The koala version is just as sweet.

Candles and candleholders are 30 percent off at Areaware through Monday night with the code SPARK30. This poppy-shaped holder that fits tapered candles and incense is especially delightful.

And one final sale-on-sale: All clearance items are an extra 20 percent off at Hay with the code EXTRA20. We like this kindercore electric kettle, which you’ll actually want to display on your countertop.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
