11 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy: From Lo & Sons to Wrangler

Amazon’s Holiday Beauty Haul sale began yesterday, and though there aren’t a ton of deals, the savings I found are actually pretty good — like our favorite Sonicare electric toothbrush, the teeth-whitening strips that are always popular with our readers during Prime Day, and the eye cream one of our writers likes better than Banana Bright. But if you want to get a head start on your holiday shopping, I also found some toys for kids and a few good stocking stuffers.

If you’re not a fan of Oral-B’s small round brushes, the Sonicare 4100 electric toothbrush has an oblong brush head. It is a favorite of Bob the Drag Queen, who now gets compliments from dentists after incorporating it into his routine.

These completely chemical-free teeth-whitening strips are a best seller with Strategist readers every time they go on sale, and this is as good a deal as we’ve seen for them.

BeautyStat’s vitamin-C serum brightens writer Dominique Pariso’s under eyes even better than the cult-favorite Banana Bright cream from Ole Henriksen. The fragrance-free formula “instantly sinks into the skin and leaves a velvety finish.”

If you haven’t gotten around to trying a DNA ancestry kit, now’s your chance to trace your lineage (including how much Neanderthal DNA you’ve inherited) for half off. It also makes a good gift for the hard-to-shop-for.

This doggy water bottle — a smaller version of the one Strategist junior writer Brenley Goertzen bought last year for her Australian shepherd mix — is on sale in lilac. Simply squeeze to dispense water into the bowl-like top and squeeze again to return excess water back into the bottle.

This matching dog leash and cross-body bag set is also on sale in lilac, but if you would like more color options (and don’t mind spending an extra $20), it’s on sale at the Springer website, too.

Lo & Sons’ bags have appeared in many of our best-in-class guides, but they can be pretty pricey. I spotted this sleek sling bag for under $60.

Dressier than your average denim shirt.

Fat Brain Toys is offering 21 percent off one item with the code PV-2937 through Thursday night. This simple but fun bath toy is one of our best gifts for 1-year-olds, and it even nabbed a spot in the Strategist Toy Store.

This six-piece set of multicolor rubber “stones” is perfect for playing “floor is lava.”

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
