What Andy Cohen Can’t Live Without

If you’re like us, you’ve probably wondered what famous people add to their carts. Not the JAR brooch and Louis XV chair but the hair spray and the electric toothbrush. We asked Andy Cohen — who’s a spokesperson for Amazon devices this holiday season — about his favorite moisturizer, the tea he drinks every morning, and the edibles he can’t live without.

This is the only skin care that I really use, and I’ve been using it for so long that I don’t even know how I found out about it. I put it on every night before bed and in the morning when I wake up. It is not cheap, but it lasts a really long time. I know they always tell you this at the cosmetics counter, but all you need is a little dime size and it will go all over your face. It’s very rich. There’s a reason they call it “skin caviar.”

All I can say is it really works. You don’t need someone else to use it on you. I used it last night. My forearms and biceps were hurting, and it totally cleared them up. It makes a great gift. I’ve given it to multitudes of people.

It’s the first thing I do in the morning when I’m waiting for Ben to wake up and come terrorize me. It’s a positive way to start your day and just gets your brain going. I have a family text chain, and we all send each other our Wordles. They’re always amazed to get my Wordle at 6:45 a.m., because they can’t believe I’m up so early, but such is my new life as a parent.

I discovered these in Ben’s Halloween-candy bag. They’re like spa food to me. I keep them in my freezer and allow myself one a day.

The best tea shop in New York is Tea & Sympathy. It’s on Greenwich Avenue and has every import from the U.K. and Ireland that you can imagine. It turned me onto this tea. I was a PG Tips guy for many years. But then I went in there and I said to the owner, Nikki, “You have to amp this up for me. I need more caffeine.” And she’s like, “I have exactly what you need, and it’s Yorkshire Gold.” That’s my jam. That’s my tea. It gets me super-high in the morning and ready to go.

I had a dog for years, and I would throw on my Ugg slippers and get my tea and go outside. At night, I would walk down the street with a cocktail and my Uggs walking the dog. They’re indoor-outdoor, always comfortable, and always warm. A great gift too.

These are my absolute favorite edibles. They make CBD Cheeba Chews as well, but I like the sativa Cheeba Chews. They taste like little Tootsie Roll bites and get me the exact vibe I want. If Yorkshire Gold gets me high in the morning, Cheeba Chews get me high at night.

I tend to throw reading glasses around, so I need a pair that can take a lot of wear and tear. But then I want them to look great when I put them out. I actually found out about these through Sarah Jessica Parker. There are a zillion styles online and they’re not going to break the bank. I just buy ones with the standard 1.25 prescription lens and have been wearing them for three or four years. They’re super-stylish and really durable.

I have a whole routine with my Alexa. [Editor’s note: Andy is a spokesperson for Amazon devices.] I use the Echo. When I walk into my apartment, I want the lighting to be right, I want the music going. It’s set up for the holidays right now and is geared up with my Christmas tree, my music, and my disco ball.
