Cyber Monday is finally here, and lots of Strategist-approved brands are offering some major discounts on mattresses — as well as bedding, pillows, and mattress covers. While shopping these sales, we suggest checking out our list of the best mattresses (all of which have been tested by the Strategist team) to see which brand is the best fit for you and the way you sleep.
To make comparing deals a little easier, all prices below are for queen-size mattresses (but every discount is available on other sizes, too). And if you want even more Cyber Monday sales coverage, check out our running list of all of the best Cyber Monday deals.
Allswell
Allswell is offering 25 percent off nearly everything, including the Strategist-approved Luxe Hybrid Mattress and the Supreme Mattress, with the code TURKEY25. (The brand’s basic model, the Allswell Mattress, is not included in the sale.) Former Strategist editor Margaret Rhodes calls the Luxe “a stellar firm mattress: You’re being good to your spine, but the feel is still comfortable.” The Supreme is also firm, but two inches thicker, thanks to its Euro-style top and additional layer of temperature-regulating foam.
Aviya
With code STRAT200, you get $200 off the Aviya Mattress, which former Strategist writer Lori Keong calls “plush yet delightfully bouncy,” due to the innerspring-and-foam construction. “I’d even go so far as to say that sleeping on this changed my perception of what soft-but-supportive means,” she adds.
Avocado
Avocado, which uses organic and recycled materials to make what we’ve dubbed the best ecoconscious mattress, is giving customers $200 off its Avocado Latex Mattress with the code STRATAVO. It’s also offering $150 off when you buy a bed frame and mattress with the code BED150, as well as two pillows free with a mattress purchase when you use the code 2FREEPILLOWS. (These codes are stackable, so you can use all three if you want to.)
Bear
With code STRAT20, Strategist readers will get 20 percent off any of Bear’s three mattresses. Strategist senior writer Karen Iorio Adelson says the ten-inch-thick, all-foam Bear Mattress above is a great pick for athletes. For even more support, you could try the Bear Pro mattress, which is also all-foam but 12 inches thick. According to Strategist contributor Steven John, the brand’s top-of-the-line Bear Hybrid — a foam-and-spring mattress — makes him “fall asleep faster than I have on just about any other mattress I’ve ever tried.” Bear is also throwing in two of its down-alternative Cloud pillows and a sheet set for free with every mattress purchase.
Birch by Helix
Using the code STRAT200, Birch is offering $200 off any of its mattresses, which are made with ecofriendly materials. Our deputy editor Maxine described it as “supportive yet plush it is — a dream for a stomach sleeper like me, who tosses and turns throughout the night.” Birch is also throwing in two free Eco-Rest pillows with any mattress purchase.
Casper
Casper sells several (Strategist-vetted) mattresses, all of which are 20 percent off through December 1. Several members of our staff have tested the brand’s all-foam original mattress, and all say it’s great for just about everyone (except hot sleepers). We’ve called the luxurious Wave Hybrid mattress “a souped-up, premium version of the original Casper,” thanks to its contoured foam and dome-shaped gel pods, which are designed to provide targeted ergonomic support. Casper’s latest offering, the Nova Hybrid mattress, swaps those gel pods for a layer of so-called puff fabric for a softer feel; we slept on it and found it to be a truly “plush mattress that still delivers a decent amount of support.” In addition to 15 percent off its mattresses, Casper is offering customers 30 percent off bundles, and 10 percent off everything else, including pillows, bed frames, and bedding.
Cocoon by Sealy
Sealy is offering 35 percent off sitewide, including its Cocoon Chill mattress that former Strategist senior editor Simone Kitchens says banished her “usual roll-out-of-bed lower-back creakiness.”
Eight Sleep
For those who want their mattress to do more than provide 40 winks, this smart bed from Eight Sleep can perform a daily health check, automatically adjust the mattress’s temperature according to the climate, and wake you up using gentle vibrations. Right now, the brand is offering an automatic $500 discount for Cyber Monday, along with a $200 discount on the Pod Pro cover. And if you’re purchasing a mattress, Eight Sleep will automatically give you 20 percent off any accessories (like its eucalyptus sheets, gravity blankets, or mattress protectors) that you add to your cart.
Emma Mattress
With code CYBER, Emma Mattress is taking 40 percent off all website purchases and 45 percent off all bundle purchases — which includes a mattress, mattress protector, and pillow — for Cyber Monday. Strategist writer Louis Cheslaw found the brand’s memory-foam Emma Mattress to be a “solid choice for side-sleepers who get hot easily,” and we’ve called it a nice fit for those who like a softer, all-foam mattress.
Helix
Helix sells nine different hybrid (or foam-and-spring) mattress options and offers a sleep quiz that helps determine the right one for you. (We haven’t slept on the Moonlight, but the brand describes it as a softer model.) And for the holidays, it’s offering a three-tiered deal: When you spend $600 or more on any purchase, you can get $100 off with the code STRAT100; when you spend $1,250 or more, you can get $150 off with the code STRAT150; and when you spend $1,750 or more, you can get $200 off with the code STRAT200. And should you purchase something using any of the codes, the brand will throw in two microfiber Dream pillows for free.
Layla Sleep
Layla is offering $150 off any mattress purchase and $200 off any hybrid-mattress purchase with no codes required — and it’ll throw in two free memory-foam pillows, a mattress protector, and a microfiber sheet set with any mattress order. The brand is also taking $30 off its weighted blankets and bamboo sheets in any size. Strategist readers can get an additional $10 off their purchase with the code STRATEGIST.
Leesa
As part of Leesa’s Cyber Monday sale, you can get up to $200 off the brand’s Original mattress, a ten-inch-thick, all-foam model that deputy editor Maxine says “offers excellent pressure relief” and “should suit all kinds of sleepers,” along with two free pillows with any mattress purchase. You can also get up to $150 off its new, more affordable Studio by Leesa mattress (also all-foam, but seven inches thick); up to $350 off the Leesa Hybrid (foam with one layer of springs); and up to $500 off the Leesa Legend (foam with two layers of springs).
Molecule
Molecule, the maker of one of our favorite mattress toppers, is taking up to 40 percent off site-wide for Cyber Monday. The “temperature neutral” AirTEC Topper is 10 percent off with code CYBERSALE, and it uses the same temperature-regulating foam found in the brand’s mattresses — like the Molecule 2 Airtec Mattress above — which are now up to 40 percent off. And if you’re in the market for a complete bedding set, the brand is also taking up to 40 percent off bedding, 35 percent off pillows, and throwing in a free sheet set with every mattress purchase.
Nectar
Nectar is offering a free mattress protector, sheet set, and premium pillows with every mattress purchase (a $399 value). We recommend the Nectar Memory-Foam Mattress, which is “surprisingly enveloping,” has “just the right amount of give,” and is made with cooling gel that, according to Strategist editor Casey Lewis, “really does work.”
Nest Bedding
Nest Bedding is taking 25 percent off all of its mattresses, including this flippable memory-foam model (one side is firm; the other, medium). Everything else on its site — including pet beds, bed frames, sheet sets, cooling toppers, comforters, and even nightstands — is 20 percent off, too.
Nolah Mattress
Over at Nolah, you can snag the cooling original 10-inch mattress — which we found to be the “superior option” for side sleepers who “move around and skew hot” — for $250 off, along with two free pillows. The brand is also taking up to $800 off its new 15-inch hybrid mattress (including two free pillows), up to $300 off its 12-inch signature mattress, $300 off adjustable bases, $40 off mattress protectors, $50 off any size sheets, and $40 off any two-pack of pillows. Strategist readers also receive an additional $100 off on purchases of $1,000 or more using the code STRATEGIST100.
Parachute
Parachute — the maker of some of our favorite linen sheets, bathrobes, and mattress toppers — is taking 20 percent off across its site until November 30. This includes the brand’s firm, foam-free mattress, which is made with wool, organic cotton, and tempered steel springs. “In the age of the foam mattress, you forget how breezy springs feel,” writes former Strategist editor Margaret Rhodes. “Parachute’s mattress is very firm, so my initial impression was one of sleeping on a very sturdy topper floating on top of nothing — I immediately noticed that my body heat was no longer trapped beneath me.”
PlushBeds
For Cyber Monday, PlushBeds is offering $1,250 off its all-natural latex mattresses and giving customers a free sheet set with mattress purchase. Or you can take 25 percent off mattress toppers, pillows, and bedding. Plus, when you use the code STRAT20, you will get an additional $100 off any mattress purchase.
Purple
Purple is taking $100 off the Purple Mattress, which we found to be “well suited to those who sleep hot and hate foam,” thanks to its breathable gel grid. It’s also offering $200 off the Hybrid Premier Mattress, $150 off the Hybrid Mattress, and $25 off the Kid Mattress.
Saatva
To kick off the holiday season, Saatva — which makes our best all-around mattress for those “in need of back support” — is taking $200 off when you spend $1,000 or more. No code required.
Serta
Serta’s range of iComfort mattresses are designed to keep sweaty sleepers cool. There are five versions, and all are on sale for Cyber Monday. Three of the iComfort mattresses — including this cooling, supportive model — are $200 off, and the priciest option, which comes with the best pressure relief, is $400 off.
Tempur-Pedic
Strategist readers can take 30 percent off the Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Cloud mattress, a medium-soft, all-foam style, with code STRAT 30. Alternatively, you can get 40 percent off all mattress toppers — no code required.
Tuft & Needle
Everything from mattresses to linen duvets is on sale for 20 percent off during Tuft & Needle’s November promotion. Strategist writer (and back sleeper) Lauren Ro says the original mattress made her feel both “supported and cocooned at the same time.”
Wink Beds
The code STRAT300 will get you $300 off any of WinkBeds mattresses, including the foam-and-spring WinkBed Mattress, which comes in four firmness levels. Strategist senior editor Katy Schneider found that the “luxury firm” version of the mattress is supportive enough to reduce back pain and minimize the feeling of any movement, if you sleep with someone who tends to toss and turn. (In terms of firmness levels, luxury firm falls between “soft” and “firmer.”) While we haven’t slept on them, the brand’s all-foam GravityLux Mattress and latex EcoCloud Mattress are also eligible for the discount.
Yogabed by Yogasleep
Yogasleep is offering 20 percent off sitewide with the code BLACKFRIDAY20 through November 30, and it’s taking up to $220 off its breathable memory-foam Yogabed mattress.
