Cheese puffs or balls in a large, multi-gallon container bring me joy, because they imply bounty — cheese puffs for a month or so — plus, they’re a bargain. You can find these giant containers at dollar stores, but the more synthetic-looking and tasting, the better. You can keep a jug like this in the garage or above the laundry machine.

It’s amazingly simple — even I consider myself proficient at it — and there’s a lot of neat tricks I won’t get into. Highly recommend for simplifying calendar stress.

I have had this wide-brim hat for several years, and I wear it every day, and it gets beaten up but still holds up. I love it because it breathes nicely and provides a ton of sun protection with its enormous brim.
