For this week’s “Don’t Dillydally,” we’ve rounded up a range of newly released products we’re particularly excited about, including some squishy rugs, handsome luggage, and a cooling travel pillow.
The palette that launched a million smoky eyes is available to shop once more at Ulta. Naked came out in 2010 before being discontinued eight years later. I suspect this limited-edition run will be a sellout.
I’ve got golden tickets to see Chappell Roan in London next month, and I know for a fact that I’ll be in the audience, wearing a full face of Half Magic’s pigmented, glittery makeup. I like the look of these eye crayons in particular — they launched last week, alongside a makeup correcting pen, for neatening up shadows, graphic liners, and wings.
Ruggable simply loves a collab. In addition to its Bridgerton, Malene Barnett, and Morris & Co. collections, it’s just announced a second collection with Pantone. I love the brand’s squishy, non-budging rugs as much as I love how easy to clean they are: Just stick ’em in the washing machine.
Productivity drops to zero whenever a new Baggu collection gets dropped in our Slack chat. This week, it was a Peanuts collaboration that made us all gasp. Out of the dozens of bags, packing cubes, and rucksacks, I particularly like this pumpkin-patch colorway, for those who are spookily inclined.
Ikea’s vintage-inspired range also brought us to a standstill this week. It includes an update on a 1967 “anti-stress armchair.”
K-pop girl group Dreamcatcher just partnered with K-beauty brand byCoréelle for a new serum-stick launch. The three-piece multi-balm set includes energizing and hydrating vitamins in cream-serum form, as well as three Dreamcatcher photo cards. Fingers crossed you get your bias.
Back when I covered suitcases for the Strategist, I was always drawn to Carl Friedrik’s grown-up, handsome cases. Its new core collection is the brand’s first hard-shell zippered range. And while it’s a new launch, you may have spotted the swish carry-ons already in shows like The Gentlemen and The White Lotus. Hopefully yours will meet a cheerier fate.
NuFace, the brand we love for its sculpting microcurrent devices, released eye masks this week. They contain magnesium, amino acids, and electrolytes to refresh and revitalize your under eyes. You can even drag a NuFace microcurrent device over them to truly eliminate all evidence of a Brat summer.
Commando — which makes some of our favorite undies for women — has launched stuff for men! There are men’s boxer briefs, trunks, and crewneck shirts. Stay tuned to see if they’ll land a spot in our guide to men’s underwear, too.
Hanky Panky Do Bras, Now
Another one of our favorite underwear brands, Hanky Panky, has also extended its scope: this time into bras. If its T-shirt bras get even half the acclaim its range of briefs have, expect to see a lot of them on the Strategist sometime soon.
I already love Trtl’s unusual-but-effective travel-pillow design, but the addition of a cooling fabric sounds particularly appealing. It looks cute, too!
The Strategist is designed to surface useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Every product is independently selected by our team of editors, whom you can read about here. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
