Last week, Nordstrom launched a sale filled with tons of warmer-weather gear to get outside. I found beach pants, running sneakers, and sunglasses, as well as year-round staples like Adidas socks and underwear multipacks. And if it’s still pretty chilly where you are, don’t worry: I spotted some stragglers from Nordstrom’s Winter Sale, which we covered back in February, like hiking boots and throw blankets.
To make it easier for you, I’ve broken this post into five categories: women’s fashion, men’s fashion, beauty, home, and kids. The beauty section is fairly empty right now, but the women’s section (as usual) is looking especially stacked — and I’ll be keeping an eye on all of it and updating this post as new deals go live. (We’ve got until 10 a.m. PT on April 2 to shop).
So scroll on to see the best deals I’ve spotted at Nordstrom’s Spring Sale so far, or click here to check out everything that’s on sale.
Women’s
If you’re spring-cleaning your underwear drawers, I spotted our best lacy thongs on sale in a set of five.
A budget-friendly (and still work-appropriate) top from Caslon.
Another Nordstrom brand, Treasure & Bond, has some excellent deals on closet staples like this cotton long-sleeve tee.
Some of our favorite silk pajamas are 55 percent off in navy blue.
It’s not that Skims dress, but it’s close enough — and still on-sale in most sizes.
Here’s a classic swingy raincoat for the April showers headed our way.
I found lots of excellent deals on Madewell pieces, like this zip-top version of our best women’s work bag. It’s on sale in brown.
Some fairly inexpensive sunglasses that you won’t feel too bad about losing.
These cherry-print high-tops are a step up from basic white Chucks.
Perfect for tromping down muddy trails all season long.
Men’s
Spring clean your underwear drawer with this three-pack of Calvin Klein boxer briefs, which are on sale in black, white, and blue.
Or you could stock up on some slim-fitting, all-cotton undershirts.
A nice-looking pajama top you can definitely get away with wearing on Zoom call.
And some also half-off stretch twill pants for the beach days that are just around the corner.
The Brooks Ghost 15s are the “forever shoe” of our writer Lauren Ro. They feature a roomy toe box that comfortably accommodates her narrow feet and bunions.
Here’s a set of no-show Adidas socks to go with those new sneakers.
A classic pair of universally flattering Ray-Ban Wayfarers.
This slim leather case uses RFID, which supposed protects your credit cards from electronic scanners.
A sweat-wicking baseball cap you can wear during marathon training.
Beauty
Several punchy shades of this liquid lipstick from Armani are $13 off. One makeup artist told us the velvet finish “gives your lips a full, luscious look” and has “great staying power.”
This quartet includes three flavors of SPF-infused lip balm, as well as an ultrahydrating overnight lip treatment.
Drybar’s exfoliating scrub is formulated with sugar, coconut shell, and rice powder, which remove buildup and dead skin cells on your scalp and body.
Home and Kitchen
A surprising find: a quartet of Brightland’s status-y vinegars and olive oils.
An all-linen kitchen towel from cool brand Tekla is 35 to 50 percent off depending on which of the three colors you select — cream, magenta, or cobalt (pictured here).
And this one has even more patterns and colors to choose from (though note that prices will vary).
For outdoor use, here’s a half-off outdoor blanket for beach days and park picnics.
Plenty of Voluspa candles are on sale. Rio has recommended the Mokara scent, which she describes as “light and airy and a more subtle, floral experience.”
This floral candle from Boy Smells features notes of white birch, wild fig, smoked papyrus, and tanned leather.
And this one — which was made in collaboration with Ganni — is a verdant blend of ginger, basil, fig, sage, tonka bean, and sandalwood.
Kids
This nautical playpen can be used for wrangling babies indoors, as a kiddie pool (it holds 20 gallons of water), or as a pop-up tent for outdoor play (thanks to a UPF 50+ roof and mosquito net).
The only thing cuter than your baby: your baby in this cottagecore cardigan.
A surprisingly nice-looking sleep sack for newborns that is just $29 and comes in four patterns.
The matching throw blanket makes a pretty foolproof baby-shower gift.
And here’s a onesie in a charming castle print.
This won’t arrive in time for Easter, but it’s still awfully adorable year-round.
Here’s a nice Adidas hoodie for older kids. (Note the plethora of pockets, including on the arm.)
