12 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy: From Brooks to Coyuchi

Rarely do I find shoes on sale in every color, but today I am delighted to report that some Strategist-favorite Brooks running shoes are $30 off and come in a wide variety of styles to choose from. And while updating our best mattresses on sale post yesterday, I noticed that our best-in-class pick is the cheapest its been in a while. I’ve included it here, as well as a set of flannel sheets from Coyuchi to match.

I just restocked this massive jar of Fly by Jing’s beloved Sichuan chili crisp, which is a staple in my house — we make the brand’s vegan mapo tofu recipe nearly every week.

Strategist writer Lauren Ro, who’s been running for a decade, says the Brooks Ghost 15s are her “forever shoe.” They feature a roomy toe box that comfortably accommodates her narrow feet and bunions.

The best dry shampoo is this one from Klorane. I have the aerosol version, which I even use to texturize freshly washed fringe (a tip from my hair stylist).

And now, a mist for your face and body: This SPF spray from our beloved EltaMD goes on white so you can ensure even coverage, then turns clear.

La Roche-Posay’s Toleriane face wash features the brand’s famed thermal spring water, which hydrates and soothes irritated, dry skin.

At Nordstrom, a cache of Caslon tops are 50 percent off. First, we found a slouchy long sleeve — that’s still work appropriate — in black, gray, beige, and ivory.

A shacket for not-too-cold days when the sun peeks out.

And a space-dyed cardigan that’s cozy enough for hunkering down on the couch but won’t startle your delivery driver with your appearance.

Our favorite shearling-lined slippers for both men and women, now in kids’ sizes (and nearly half off).

I love all the bedding I have from Coyuchi, and its flannel sheets seem ideal for cold nights. The site is also offering a tiered discount, which applies to both full-price and sale items: 15 percent off orders over $250; 20 percent off orders over $500; and 25 percent off orders over $1,000.

Our best overall mattress, the Saatva Classic, is $500 off. “This mattress never created a sunken, stuck feeling,” writes Strategist senior editor Simone Kitchens, a side sleeper with a generally sore back. “The supported feeling of this bed (which is still pretty plush) kept my lower back from collapsing in, making my spine feel more aligned overall.”

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
