Actor David Oyelowo won critical acclaim for his portrayal of Dr. Martin Luther King in “Selma”; now he’s changing pace by playing an escaped convict who holds a young woman hostage in the fact-based drama “Captive.” He tells TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie that he likes to mix his roles, and admits he nearly drove his wife crazy by staying in character throughout the production of “Nightingale.”
