Poet and immigrant rights activist Sonia Guiñansaca obtained legal permanent residency in the U.S. and was able to travel back to Ecuador for the first time in 21 years. She now spends her time writing poetry and advocating for climate change justice and reforming immigration detention facilities.May 3, 2016
