Sparring partners and Pivot co-hosts Kara Swisher (New York Magazine editor-at-large) and Scott Galloway (professor at NYU’s Stern School of Business) are bringing New York Magazine’s award-winning podcast to life with a first-of-its-kind virtual-event series focused on what the future of business will look like post-pandemic. Over the course of five events, Pivot Schooled will bring Swisher and Galloway’s no-holds-barred analysis live to your living room, with prediction-packed discussions and unexpected insights zeroing in on the ways the pandemic is accelerating industry trends for tech and media companies.
Beginning on August 4 and running for five weeks, Pivot Schooled will host one event a week, with each focusing on a different sector of the economy. Swisher and Galloway will present their sharp, industrywide insights, hosting live interviews with renowned business leaders and academics. They will offer attendees a curated list of what to read to supplement each livestream, as well as the opportunity to ask questions in real time. Each Schooled event will be released in the Pivot feed as a podcast episode one week later.
Tickets cost $29.95 for the series of five events, or $49.95 with a digital subscription to New York Magazine included, and are available for purchase at PivotSchooled.com. Twenty dollars ($20) from every ticket sold from June 29, 2020, through September 2, 2020, to attend the digital editorial series Pivot Schooled will be used to support communities in crisis.
