Vulture Returns to Sundance With Its Exclusive Photo and Interview Studio

Vulture will return to Sundance Film Festival with its exclusive media studio, the Vulture Spot, running from January 20–23. Comedian Jared Goldstein will host interviews with top talent from the Festival’s films, who will also join Vulture in its photo studio. The video and photo content produced inside the studio will be showcased on Vulture.com and on Vulture’s Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter channels during and following the festival.

“We’re thrilled to be back at Sundance to celebrate the most exciting independent storytelling of the year, and connect the festival’s top talent to Vulture and the Cut’s audiences across the country,” said Tara Reilly, VP of experiential and partnerships. “There is no better forum than Sundance to harness our unique editorial voice and work alongside partners to create an experience beloved by attendees and talent alike at this cultural mainstay.”

The Vulture Spot, Vulture’s video-interview and photography space, is open invitation-only from January 20–23. The Festival’s most exciting creators and performers are scheduled to visit the studio, including Ryan Coogler, Cynthia Erivo, Brooke Shields, Jennifer Connelly, Gael García Bernal, Daisy Ridley, Will Forte, Ben Platt, Omari Hardwick, Ben Wishaw, Randall Park, Eliza Scanlen, Alden Ehrenreich, Anna Camp, and many more.

SHOWTIME® is the presenting sponsor of the video studio and will also promote season two of Yellowjackets with a branded hospitality station within the Vulture Spot lounge, serving breakfast, lunch, and light bites. The lounge has been custom-created to reflect the aesthetic of the show, with a rustic modern cabin design and Easter eggs from the show incorporated into the décor. Yellowjackets is not a selection of the Sundance Film Festival.

La Mer is the presenting sponsor of the photo studio and will also host a branded beauty counter within the Vulture Spot to promote its Eye Concentrate, among other select products. Talent visiting the Vulture Spot will be able to try out the La Mer products. Alongside the product counter, La Mer will host an “Après Tea” bar, with herbal, green, and black tea selections offered to guests.

Also happening on the ground in Park City, Utah, Stacy’s® Pita Chips is hosting a screening of the short film Rise, followed by a special live panel discussion of the Cut’s highly successful editorial column focused on work-life balance, ambition, and success, “How I Get It Done.” Brooke Marine, the Cut’s deputy culture editor, will host the conversation with Latasha Gillespie, executive head of global diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA) for Amazon Studios, Prime Video, and IMDb; actress Alia Shawkat; and director, writer, and producer Lana Wilson. After the discussion, Brooke will open the floor for a guest Q&A, followed by a reception. The invite-only event will take place at Stacy’s® Roots to Rise Market on Main Street.
